We had the fajitas, chicken and the beef. You could tell right away that the meat was frozen and not fresh. The salsa and nachos were good, but the corn tortillas used fro the fajitas were store bought, no taste and were like steamed rubber. They used red kidney beans instead of refried beans and did not have any sour cream, guacamole or salsa for the fajitas. A chinese restaurant could have done a better job. Recommend you go to Taco Bell rather than this place.
SICKENED PATRON Brooklyn, NY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #2 Jun 17, 2009 I ate at this establishment last week. I ended up with serious diarrahhea for 2 days. Then just yesterday, I was diagnosed with pig flu. I believe the waitress gave it to me.

Just days before it's grand opening last October, Cabanas was virtually demolished by vandals. And it's been closed ever since.

I was trying to find out info when I stumbled on this site. I tried calling but there was no answer. Might be a little early yet. Real shame about the destruction. I don't think it was just kids or robbery. They took the time to actually saw off the table & chair legs ! Somebody didn't want this place to open. Maybe they should be looking at the guy getting sick when the weren't even open ....

I am Italian and was expecting "Olive Garden" aka the Fake Italian Diner type of food. Try the Meza Luna..Mmm Mmm Mmmm I mean its not a Mom and Pop ,BUT, as far as chains go, its good.
