Truly, Pastor Bryant can deliver the word. He has brought many young people into the kingdom of God.

However, he has made a terrible decision. It was not a mistake. He knows better.

Hopefully, this experience will humble him and allow him to seek God. I hope he has stepped down because he needs to seek God and God only right now.

Michelle, NO PASTOR (please hear me clearly)...NO PASTOR has ever "truly" brought a person to G-d. A persons "coming" is attributed to them heeding the Voice of G-d. People don't "choose" G-d. He chooses us, and due to the law of free will we make the decision whether to answer or not. But the amazing thing is, He knows the choice we will make and when. Please stop giving pastors (or others in the ministry) credit for something that they really don't have the power to do.
Say Amen

Your right no Pastor can bring a person to Christ. However, we can lead a person to Christ by our styles. Being a Christian is a lifestyle for me and I can influence people by how I live. Not just on Sunday mornings but everyday.

I am not a JHB fan but his style of preaching how brought many into The Kingdom.

I think that is what Michelle was trying to say.

Mr or Ms. Evangelist,
Please hear me and hear me clearly. Everyone on this blog is NOT gossipping or trying to tear down JHB. Some of these people are talking out of hurt because they put their confidence in someone that let them down. Now I can see someone that has been in church for a while, but those that are babes in Christ may not be able to handle this and this is there way of expressing their hurt. You're not talking like a mature person in the Lord right now and to hog up the blog is very immature. Finally, Its a difference to fall and to willfully sin. It's a difference! and I believe that if the holy spirit is in JHB that it should had convict him before he committed the sin. When are we going to stop taking up for sinners? We're not helping them by taking up for them. Yes pray for them but they must be held accountable like each of us when we sin. I will say one thing I heard John Hagee said on TBN earlier today, "Judgement is Coming to America" and it's going to start in the church!
Can I get an 'Amen', right here.

Jewish history. Go check it out on the internet. Basically in a sign of reverance, most Jews (practicing or in name only) do not write out the whole name of G-d because the name is so Holy. For example, they will not write it on any paper that has the potential of being thrown away.

IMO, I think we as Christians, do not study enough the Jewish roots of our faith...Very fascinating.

The preaching may have "brought" them into a different knowledge of the Kingdom, but does that preaching sustain and teach them along the way? There is a lack of substance in his preaching...period. And subtance is far long-lasting then "feel good, shake the haters off, going to the next dimension, my season of overflow" type of preaching.

Man, I can't agree enough with this here post.

It wasn't always that way, though. There were some really good sermons from him.

I don't know what has happened to them, here lately.

it's not just him...juanita bynum, too. they have gotten away from the things they preached when they first began. i remember having jamal as a speaker when i was the president of a student organization when i was in college. he made more sense then, than he has in recent years. it's a sad state of affairs.

The lack of acknowledgement about his second daughter, Naomi, out of wedlock IS true and can be verified by going to mdcourts.gov .

The stuff about Jamal and his sermons IS true, just watch streaming faith.

The stuff about his sleeping around? The jury is still out on that.

But, I'm a firm believer in the old adage,'Where there's smoke, there's fire.'

I pray that you are praying for the men and women of God because my BIBLe tells me touch not my anointed and do my Prophets no harm.

Prophetess Bynum is a powerful, powerful woman of God. I don't talk down about people. i try to lift them up in prayer.
that's the word of God .

The only time you should look down on a man is when your lifting them up. God Bless You and everyone on this comment board.

first, you are making the assumption that i am not praying for them. poor assumption on your part. because they have people who follow them, people who sit in their congregation every sunday, i am for sure praying that they return to their first Love. frankly, though i pray more for the congregants that they search Truth for themselves instead of constantly taking someone else's word.

second, my bible too speaks about "touch not mine anointed," but my exegesis of such is very different from yours. it disturbs me that people use that so often in a horribly inaccurate context. that is one of the most widely used and misinterpreted passages in the bible.

lastly, please show me where i am talking down on juanita bynum? i said that she, like JHB, has gotten away from what (and how) they "used" to preach back when they first started. i urge and pray that they (once again) return to the roots of orthodoxy and sound doctrine.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
