Where I was raised and the people around this kind of thing just did not happen. And I am proud to be AME. Obviously you are accustomed to this behavior, I am not. Now, like I have said earlier, these women are more at fault than him. I use to be a member of ET and they would just throw themselves at him. Some would even join the church with an agenda to get with him. One woman who had three children left another church and joined ET and told JB that "THE LORD TOLD HER THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO BE TOGETHER" so all of this blame I am not putting all on him and I am not about to change my denomination because of his infidelities, that's like saying stop voting because we have assholes in politics. As I have said before, who are these women that go after married men with such a vengence and all of them want his baby,I mean come on he is not Michael Jordan. I realize that looks has nothing to do with it because not only is he not good-looking, he is short. I have heard women in the church say how they just want to have sex with him. So, yes he needs to be put down for about a year, but these women will continue and go on to the next man and have more children out of wedlock. What is the hookers name that stood-up in the church and announced that she was pregnant,(see I would be locked-up) in the church she had no respect for herself and what is going to tell her child about his conception. JB is not all to blame, now these hookers who are on the blog that claim they have been with him, please, if he has been with anyone who has announced on any blog then he is really stupid and so are the women. Because Lady does not kiss and tell.

I welcome your comments but I dont think you want to go there about the AME church. Ask someone about the history of the AME church. Why do you think Pastor Reid interrupted an Annual Conference years ago with a book about the AME church????? Dont go there...just pray!

I agree I agree I agree!!! Where are the morals with women??? Now you see why so many people have given up on church as a whole. If we can just focus on the word of GOD and not the people..we will be better off. The problem here is a woman marries a man who knew from the beginning what he was about and tried to change him. Okay, he shows no interest because he is still dealing with previous relationships, children before he was married and trying to run a YOUNG church. The wife still wants to live a high price lifestyle..Guccci shoes($500 a pop) bonded hair ($1500.00) car ($50,000) and not speak to the members of ET becuase it is all about her. GOD is not going to bless a marriage that is not about HIM. Ladies...we marry for the wrong reason!! Get out of it but dont bite the hand that is feeding you!! You are right! Why can't you blame him? Are you one of Jamal's followers? If you have a problem with truth then maybe you should not be on this blog. The church is going to remain a mess until we blow the trumpet and say "Enough is Enough with these so-called wolves in the pulpit." Can't you realize that he's too arrogant to truly repent. WHAT! Are you serious? What you mean we can't blame him! HE'S A PASTOR!!! Yes we can blame him. He damaged many souls because of his behavior. When you have souls under your care you are solely responsible for living a lifestyle pleasing unto God. If Jamal cannot control himself from sinful temptatation he don't need to have anyone under him. Just because he's a man is not a justifiable reason for sinning, Period! Jamal is too arrogant to truly repent. The Bible says "Confess your faults one to another!" You sound like one of Jamal's follower's.

There has been nothing to confirm that there is a newborn with his name or another child on the way. In reference to Bishop Bryant and Pastor Reid, its wrong to assignate their character. All of us have past sins and all of us are responsible to live a live that is above reproach. If they have repented of their sins, why isn't it necessary to destroy their character. If you have something to expose other than 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 year old sins and can prove this then its valid.

It's not an assassination of character if they are continuing in their sin(s).

You're right, aside from the divorce (citing adultery, which in and of itself, should be proof for a lot of doubters on +this+ blog site) nothing has been going on.

Until the women of the children JHB is NOT taking care of come forth, it'll continue to be business as usual. If it comes to that, we might as well go on our merry way; at least, a little bit wiser, for those who have been burned, in some form, by the pulpit pimp.

The thread is not about only about JB. You brought up the AME church and I am proving to you that this has been going on for years. We cant take nothing from these Pastors and Bishops because they have done a tremendous job in the AME church!!! Including Jamal however what I am trying to prove hear is the fact that nothing can be done until someone stands up for GOD and not MAN. We all have fallen short but why bother to complain? Pastor Reid tried to point this out to us in his book and no one listened then because eveyone knew he was telling the truth. Stop pointing to one person when it is many. The others have not been caught like Jamal. Pray for him and dont forget ourselves.

Ried, while he was Pastoring at Bethel, had a baby with someone that is not his wife. At least he is paying child support.

MiMi, I believe that true believers are disapointed about what was done, but it is true. Dr. Reid did admit to it a long time ago. However, I find it hard to accept that because Jamal saw what his former pastor did that he chose to do the same thing. Jamal knows right from wrong. I never cheated on my wife or molested children because my former pastors did. I knew right from wrong. And as far as character assisination, when Jamal did what he did, he committed spiritual suicide on his own self being arrogant about it and trying to hide it. God will not allow his people to stay in the dark but for so long before he pulls the covers off of wolves. Until Jamal admits and accept the fact that he needs healing himself and to be able to heal those innocent souls he wounded, he's not fit to pastor nobody.
