I understand your concern, my friend is pregnant and this story worried me too. I did not see an obituary in the paper today (Monday) so I think they are trying to keep in under wraps. I hope we can find some answers soon. If I do I will get on here and post!

I am 9 months pregnant & got my H1N1 vaccination this morning. The risks of contracting the virus & dying while pregnant are much greater than the risk of receiving the vaccination. My doctor recommended I get it and the CDC (www.cdc.gov/ )
highly recommends that pregnant women receive the vaccine. Also, I work in a hospital too which increases my risk of getting it.

My daughter is pregnant and received her H1N1 vaccine(shot) this past Friday. Pregnant women are the first on list to get injections. She and I are both nurses. As last post said, highly recommended for pregnant women and health care employees, children (all ages), anyone that will be caring for children 6 months old and younger, individuals with history of respiratory problems.

What about the nasal vaccine? I know it's available in my area but is it safe? Isn't it a live vaccine? I was told pregnant women can't use the nasal vaccine. Anyone know why?
