To the ticket office, Batman!

Thousands of Batman fans finally got what they were waiting for Friday as sold-out midnight showings of "The Dark Knight" kicked off a weekend of screenings across the country.

Saw it today with my kids. It blew away any remnant of the old Batman I remember. Very cool movie. Probably could see it again because there were some lines that were funny that I'm sure I missed. Lots of dark comedy.

I spoke to the Riddler, Catwoman, and the Penguin.
They also liked the movie. LOL

Some in the media are saying it could take in 150 million just this week-end. Holy big money Batman!

I just watched this movie.

Without a doubt, Heath Ledger stole the show with an Oscar-worthy performance.
This was the best of the Batman movies, packed with action and drama. Definately worth seeing.
Christian Bale gave an OK performance as Batman, while Gary Oldman and Michael Caine provided great performances in supporting roles. Aaron Eckhart was not convincing in his role, and the weakest link of the acting was Maggie Gyllenhaal (but at least she's better than Katie Holmes.)
The only complaints I would have about this movie is that the ending was a little weak and there was not more of Ledger.

I want to see the Dark Knight plus to see how great Ledger plays the Joker.
