GLASSES THEFT: Police Looking For Suspects In Eyeglasses Thefts

A new low for thugs- stealing high-dollar eyewear. Don't these fools know they're on camera?? I hope someone dimes these guys out and they wind up were they belong... IN HANDCUFFS!
All consumers suffer at the hands of thieves, whether it's fools like these 2 or the government; federal, state, or otherwise. Guys, get some religion or get real; is your freedom worth so little that you commit a theft of eyewear? And in front of witnesses and a camera? D'oh!

Maybe they couldn't see the cameras.

Is there a black market for eyewear????? I can't even believe this story. So what do you do with those frames? just wear them with regular lenses? lamo! seriously people have nothing better to do.

I saw a guy that looked similar in the apple store. He was hanging out near the ipads.
He caught my eye because he was pacing back and forth.
When I looked at him he was watching staff.
everyone else was testing them out but he was not he noticed me then moved on over to the laptop section.
There were several black people and white people at the store

People with nothing better to spend their money on do this (because they already have the big houses and fancy cars). So, they buy high-end eyewear but have no required vision correction. It's a status symbol, and the thieves know it. For them, it's no different than if they were boosting any other commodity.

I am in the business and major breakins happen 8-10 times a year here and on the rise. Our frame sales reps cars are costantly broken into to steal their display frames. The internet is a great way to sell stolen products real cheap. I hope when someone sees a great deal on eyewear they think carefully where it comes from instead of accusing opticals of ripping them off !
