Too much of our incivility in today's world comes from the widespread use of this sort of offensive and insulting language. The accused used it to provoke anger, and succeeded. It's the same as striking someone, but without the physical contact. Make him pay the penalty.
Hurrah for the cops and prosecutor's office. For once, someone is sending a very clear message on behalf of the 99% of the normal population who are bullied and harrassed almost daily by these coarse nincompoops. I hope they give him a 60 day active sentence AND anger management classes. |
