Did Goldman pay him off to sign off on the Hotel? Does anyone know?

Goldman took over the property because all of the liens created an "Event of Default" under the loan. End of story. Period.

This article is truly sad considering everything Lee did for this community. Small town News Paper, what can you expect, they have nothing to do but look for ways to exploit people who are struggling, its actually embarrassing that the editor would even let it be put out, in any other town a writer would get fired for even trying to publish such a non-story, its actually pathetic.

To Former Parkite (a/k/a/ Karen Hindin perhaps?)...I don't think you would feel the same if you were one of the many creditors left in Lee Hindin's destructive wake!

Let's not confuse this guy with people who, in this economy, are really "struggling" due to extenuating circumstances. He borrowed and borrowed, and didn't pay back, including Steve Young and several others, even his own law firm whom presumedly was hired to "defend" him got screwed and had to put a $100,000 lien on him.

Good Riddance. As for publishing this story, it's perfectly OK as he was a public figure, much because of his own self-promotion. No more tables at Harryo's with limitless bar tabs...sorry.

Everything that's been reported is public record. Hindin's have not been singled out. In fact, the media has been slow to inform the public. There are so many victims left to clean up their messes. The only gratification.... maybe prevent more victims.

Agree. Let's clean this town up. Now maybe we can run Kenny Griswold out of town?

Poor "struggling" Lee. He's a crook and a fraud...forging signatures to get loans. Read this:
http://property.summitcounty.org/eaglesoftwar...
Then there's this judgement for $800,000+:
http://property.summitcounty.org/eaglesoftwar...
And this one for nearly $250,000:
http://property.summitcounty.org/eaglesoftwar...
And almost $50 grand:
http://property.summitcounty.org/eaglesoftwar...
and many more. Has this guy ever paid anybody a dime he borrowed (or stole via fraud as in the first link above.)
Good riddance.

Well, the links dont work but log in as a public user and simply type "hindin" in the name field, then sort in descending order. The list of defaults and judgments seem endless.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Libra

If you're invited to a party or gathering today and you don't know whether to go, you should. You'll have a terrific time and you might meet someone who always makes your knees go weak. Even if it's a perfectly harmless flirtation and you're both happily committed to other people, it will still do your ego good to have a tantalizing conversation with this person.
