Blair we miss you. Of course there wasn't an approval from the board, thus is the nature of non profits, and for hand picking supporters on the board, yeah right, this is why we have such a happy ending. Oh, Linda you did a stand up job yesterday, grace under pressure.

I'm sure the real estate agents and developers will miss him terribly. Everbody else...not so much.

We certainly don't know the facts of employee relationships (Including Blair). I will certainly adapt but I will clearly miss Blair, if he is not a part of my mornings. It has been a long and pleasant relationship. I love being informed, educated and warmly welcomed each morning by Blair's knowledge, humor and wonderful interviewing talent. We have been blessed to have his expertise and talent.

Blair's compensation deals at KCPW soured me so much that I stopped donating to the station. I realize that he built KCPW and KPCW almost single handedly, and that he put in years of work for very little pay. But, so have any number of small business owners. If he had cashed in and sold a successful plumbing business, I would have congratulated him and wished him all the best. To take that much money from a non-profit like KCPW, which is supported by listeners and donors and never once managed to get its budget out of the red, takes a certain special sense of entitlement.

Justin, Your view of the situation is colored by lies that have been told in the media, as well as key information being left out in order to skew the story. Reporters with conflict of interest and opinions being presented as fact. I think that yu would change your mind if you knew the whole truth.
