Well good luck to ya! But, hey, when you reopen, try not being surly and don't seat me in the back corner with my back to the bar, just because I don't wear Chanel apres ski boots and because I don't carry a $5,000 handbag! Oh, I forgot, you like those Chloe jeans, too. Newsflash! They're so yesterday. Those snobs are outta biz, as well! Snobbery doesn't create loyalty!
Just treat me like one of "your dogs." I'd like that. I'd even leave a nice tip! I'd bet, right about now, you'd be real happy for my 3-course business. Oh, yeah. Allow me to remind you: I eat...3 courses, and order 2 glasses of zin, not an appetizer washed down with one martini over a three hour timeframe. It doesn't take high math to figure out the better customer, even though the sweater may have tiny moth holes. |

...this place was never for the "average Joe," but the pretentious, beautiful people who think they are pretentious, beautiful people. Hopefully a lesson learned on how to treat ALL PAYING CUSTOMERS.

If the owners had truly been "serving the community" all along, they might not be in this mess. Here's a suggestion for when they re-open: THANK your customers for spending their money in your restaurant. Treat them like you are HAPPY they came. You are NOT rock stars or celebrities, you are small business owners. Try serving yourselves a little helping of humility: the diners are your customers and you are the workers, so act like you are willing to put out an effort to treat your customers so well that they will actually want to come back. Without repeat business from locals, you will never dig your way out of this hole. And until you ditch the offensive attitude, most of us won't care whether you dig out or not. ARE YOU GETTING THE MESSAGE?

The best thing they can do to serve the Park City community is to remain closed. Worst Service Ever.

Am surprised they were so "friendly". We also specifically will make a point of getting our sushi from a place in ch. 11. Am sure it will be extra "fresh".

Funny. We have never had a bad experience there. It appears that we were the lucky ones. My wife and I did wear jeans (not designer) and were well-treated.
However, it is hard to ignore this criticism. Seems that they have a public relations problem that needs attention. Hope they address these issues as they need customers more than ever. I am sorry to see any Park City restaurant fail. The meat loaf was quite good. I don't eat sushi. |

are you talking about Flying Sumo or Blind Dog? Blind Dog isn't going away...

They "plan on serving Park City for another 11 years"? There go my New Years 2021 reservations. Thanks for nothing, BD!

Lived in PC for 10 years. Went there twice early on and was turned off by the "attitude". It wasn't subtle as I remember. Didn't like paying so much money for the priviledge of eating in their restaurant with poor, stuck up service. Never went back and don't plan too. Seems to be a common theme here. Wonder why they are in bankruptcy? ;o)

There is a public relations problem, but let's give
them the benifit of the doubt, that they will take these comments seriously and change the attitude and pull out of this recession. Its not Cool to wish a business to fail. You know who I am, I hope you are able to pull out of this.A local |

i don't wish for them to fail. and i'm doubtful they'll change any of their practices. however, i'd much prefer a good fun resturaunt to go to without the snotty attitude and high prices. i am a local. |
