Why don't you go and judge for yourself? If it is good go back if it is no good then do not return.

I enjoy it. One of the best restaurants in town, in my opinion.

.....there always seems to be one in the crowd.

How helpful were you making that reply? When your friends ask you to your face a similar question, is that the way you answer them?

Have been to Benihana several times. I find the "show" at Shogun to be a bit better and food is similar. Benihana apparently had to tone down their show because of people suing them. I'm so sick of how quickly we sue these days.

Anyway, give Shogun a try.

Ive been there twice. The food was good, but it is a little pricey. Its a nice place to go for special occasions (in my opinion)

They were better when they first came to town. They have changed their sauces too. Not as good as it used to be., they burned our food last time.

Good food. A little pricey. Not big portions, but adequate. I think they only have one dessert choice. Very tasty. Wish they played Japanese music instead of the stuff they play.

It's the only good sushi in town. The food isn't out of this world or anything, but you should still leave satisfied. Despite what some people think, the portions are very large. It's not a buffet, folks. Moove on down to the Golden China if you want to stuff your gullet.

Mrs Haha, I guess I didn't realize you were on topix too. Well, how about we both get off the computers and do a little something more pleasurable? Like going to Shogun for dinner then some, um sushi perhaps?

Easily my favorite place to get food. The waiter/resses are usually always polite. Sushi is good and I love that how quick they put together my "To Go" orders.:]

Only problem I've ever had: This scatterbrained teenage girl waitress who my friend asked to bring us extra sauce FOUR times, and she never did.

Other than that, no complaints.

We do play Japanese music and Korean music as well. However, we did recently put in a cd of different music just to change it up a bit; listening to the same thing over and over can get old real quick.

And we now have three dessert choices.

I might try it if you go back to the Asian music. You know, to keep it somewhat authentic to your theme. Is it non-smoking?
