Former Paris Mayor, Eric Scott Clifford, d.o.b. 12-27-48, was arrested on 2-16-95 in Travis County, Texas, for solicitation of a prostitute, received a $200 fine and 6 months deferred adjudication probation. Should he be judge of the 6th dist. court?
Surely

Who cares, I say legalize prostitution. It's cheaper than a wife.

That is very dispicable for you to say...to compare a wife to a prostitute...apparently you are not married and if you are I feel for your wife....and if your not married PLEASE grow up and think about what you said before getting married

Maybe, but it's definitely true when marriages end in divorce. Here's an example:

Phil Collins of "Genesis fame" just recently got a divorce from his third wife. According to Sunday's Daily Mirror , the Genesis singer has given his third wife, Orianne Cevey, 35, nearly $50 million in a divorce settlement - after six years of marriage and two children. That's about $22,800 per day. Hmmmm.....even Elliott Spitzer's call girl was only $5k for a day. For 22k/day.......The sky's the limit...and no headaches....
The moral of this story..."If it flys, floats, or fuuks,..it's cheaper to rent"!!

Do you realize that his children look at this post daily because DAD is running for judge? anon is a topix hero now! She found out something no one else knew and got to be the first to tell! Take five, and think what it will do to his children. They do not know you but they will surely hate you for a long time.

I voted for Clinton, and it was one of the best decision the country ever made together, wouldn't you agree? Ok, now, are you people seriously going to rip this guy over something that happened almost 15 years ago? Is he a good dad? Is he a good person? Did he learn from past mistakes? I dont even know who he is running against. I would much rather know what he has done then not know anything about him. Hell, the other guy might have been snorting cocaine off of a illegal alien ass while burning a flag and spitting on a picture jesus. I think trying to get a little on the side is his business. He got caught and paid the price. This town is so full of wannabe christians, atleast try to forgive a guy for something that has absolutley nothing to do with you life. I forgive him and im not even religous.

I am not the person that should be concerned about what his children read here. He is the one that caused the situation. I am just the one that found the arrest documents. Documents that anyone that would take the time could find on the own. He is the one that should be ashamed for doing what he did and draging his family through this.. Apparently he was thinking with the wrong head... So don't lecture for stating facts... not my job to protect his GROWN children from what they read about their father.

You dont care about anything but your gossip. I'm sure not listening to an "Anon" coward who has some other agenda. I don't care if its true or not. Everone makes mistakes. He'll get my vote. Also, beginning posts look just like one person posting to themselves. Must be a supporter of someone else running for office. What goes around....

And you're bragging about it, thumping your chest and shouting, "I'm a hero!"

What kind of mentality does it take to GO LOOKING for dirt on somebody?
I guess you're that rare person who has no skeleton in your closet and has never done anything you regretted. You're that person who could say, "Hey, Jesus, let me through to cast that stone; I've NEVER sinned!"

I also forgive Eric for his lapse in judgment over a decade ago. There but for the grace of God go a lot of us -- you included.

And just what price has Bill Clinton paid? Millions of $ have come his way after he left office and the morals of the country started down the tube while he was in office. I did not vote for Bill Clinton and I will not be voting for Obama.

Wow you are blaming Clinton for your crappy life? You shouldnt vote, you are not smart enough to breathe muchless make a choice that impacts others. If i were a betting man and i am, i am betting you never voted for Clinton. I am 100% sure of that. And then to take down someone who has nothing to do with Clinton just shows the level of ignorance you have. This smells like a person trying to lie to sway others for a certain candidate. Go ahead and reply back that i am wrong, but we both know the real truth. Dont we?

I am not bragging... someone here said I should be ashamed for posting what I did. I was stating I am not the one that should be ashamed that his kids are going to read this.... I have no reason to forgive Clifford. What he did has not affected my family. If it would have I would be the first to forgive.
