it's actually not hard at all. a good pothead stays hungry and knows exactly how to cook a burger. Stop being a drug racist. smoke up with your fry cook and see the light.

But Paris is getting an Applebees!!!....oh wait no its not! Just like Paris was supposed to be getting a huge mall area just past the Nissan dealership. Remember that on the front page of the P.I. about 5 years ago? And Franchise store? Why, so they can lose them gambling again? We need Corporate stores that will be ran correctly! Give Paris something good!!! Arent you people tired of driving 20 min to an hour away to eat somewhere different? I"m using restaraunts as example because thats for sure the one thing that will create money. Everyone has to eat. Factories would be great too but i'll blame Clinton for that one.

For right now the Applebee's plans are not dead... don't give up yet.

As far as the "big mall" well go back and look at that story again... it was not a mall but a shopping center. It was an ambitious project and would have been nice, but the entire economy took a dive about the time it was announced.

Those plans and possibilities are still there, but in a holding pattern.

I agree we need some corporate owned, retail stores, restaurants and motels. Some of the ones we have owned by locals don't have the money to do it right. Look at the ones that have failed... and some are just holding on. Others put their business in a shabby old building and think they are doing us all a service, then they close uo in 6 months. Do it right or not at all!!!

I do believe Paris in in for a new growing period... it will be like a snowball rolling down a hill... but, somebody has got to get the ball rolling. It's a matter of time... once the economy gets out of the hole it's in... and it is getting better.

Probably the smartest suggestion i've seen so far is STARBUCKS. Do you know how many females alone would frequent that store?! Thats a no brainer for gods sake! My personal suggestion would be POPEYES or CHICK-Fil-A. Then that horrible KFC (that closes at dusk) would have to compete and Paris might actually get some decent chicken. Because after all, thats what its all about. Its about competition...Thats why several places in Paris get away with the crap they do because who will challenge them, ie the BPU. You dont pay your $30 bill and they cut your ass off! Where else you gonna go?

Funny I remember people having jobs AND money thanks to Clinton. It was your war criminal overlords that ruined that for everyone.

I agree a Starbucks or similar free standing coffee shop... not one buit into a corner building.

I strongly agree with one idea "competition!!!" If there is no competition then one store we have can do what they want. I could give you many examples, but you know what/who they are. The biggest problem we have is lack of competition.

If the competition puts someone out of business then that's the way it is. But, competition usually brings in more business and it becomes a win-win for everyone.

I agree with the need for many of the above listed stores, but they are not going to just happen. One of the biggest problems in Paris is attitude. People don't like change or this is the way we've always done things... well this is not the !950' and we need to get over it and move on.

Actually, what we need to do is grow up and realize the the rest of the world and other towns around Paris are moving forward and we sit spinning our wheels still wondering how we got stuck instead of what are we going to do to get out of this mess.

We can do it, but it will take money and new people with a vision for tomorrow. Think 5-10 years down the road and not just today.

Well, hell yes, I'm fat. WTF do you have against fat people? I like fat bottomed girls, too. Nobody goes to the store to buy bones. I don't want one of those skinny assed girls who look like they are on meth or crack. lol

Ditto on Popeyes! Close down NASTY DIRTY KFC! Starbucks? Nope. Would never make it here. Paris ppl would NEVER pay 5.00 for a cup of coffee. MOST of us don't earn that kind of money.

Seriously what your deal? Why do you assume i support any of that crap spewing from your ass? I DONT! I merely stated a fact of 1 person. You think i like all the other goat riding, luciferian, NWO shit that "THEY" support? NONE OF THEM ARE WORTH A SHIT! So stop fcuking trolling on me and stick to the fcuking topic! And to "My Two Cents", i appreciate your input on THIS topic but i still have to disagree with you on Starbucks. I know plenty of people that would visit that store. You dont have to be rich to buy there and you dont have to buy a $5 cup of coffee. I assure you there is plenty of money in Paris to support a Starbucks.

A chick-fil-a would do well here but a sit down get a meal and drink a beer place would be my vote. the fresh is too expensive for mediocre at best food, and mio's is the best here but, if I gotta drive to the lake I'll just go a different direction.
