I know the wireless Internet has problems. Sometimes it is the weather. Sometimes it is trees in the way. So service can change seasonally. ATT might go down or have problems. Sometime it is interference from a churches wireless router blocking signal from customers. These have all been explained to customers with problems with the service. These are acts of God and not under the control of the technicians. why should the company adjust billing for these issues causing loss of service? Especially when customers still pay full amount. That would take too much time and work causing the pricing to rise. Is that your goal.

Still sounds like crappy service and attitude to me. Why would anyone want something you say is unreliable and obviously it would be too expensive to customers to do it right. You basically said what I have been hearing all along.:(

you obviously do...your on here, your reading the thread, you posted, though most people do a search to see if they want to use a business. Wouldn't you want to know if a business was unreliable before you gave them your money, not find out afterward? I think that was the point of the thread.

I know the Beasly Antenna and Satellite quite well, I can say a whole lot but do not have much good to say. A big disappointment sums it up. They now have BlockBuster in store, wish them luck.
Lots of bad thoughts but best left unsaid because of small town. The retired Beaslys need to come back and retake buisness from the kids.
I would have thought Charter would have been good. They hooked my internet up yesterday while I was at work. Yep, they left a 50 foot long cable in kitchen. I had computer in living room and Charter was suppose to route the cable to the kitchen, yep they sure did, routed the cable across the living room floor and left a huge pile of cable on kitchen floor. This weekend I'll have to do their job on routing cable underneath home and coming up to the kitchen.

that does sound like a pain in the rear, i would have expected much better out of the cable company myself. I have their internet & it is cheaper & works well, but I would have a problem with leaving anyone alone in my home to do work & going under a house...spiders.creepy crawlies & snakes oh my!...I am disappointed they no longer have an office here in town. I would definitely get on charters website & send them a complaint, the tech was obviously one of three things, 1 incompetent 2. lazy or 3 too fat to fit. either way shouldn't have the job. I would also look around to see if anything is missing.

I have to laugh about the blockbuster, who uses that when there is Netflix, hulu plus, & so much more now days. I am surprised that it is the younger generation making these kind of out dated business decisions would have expected it from older gen. oh well, sounds like a slide toward being obsolete to me.

I was told that the two grown men techs were scared of my outside duck. My neighbor was over when I was working. It took me four months to tame my duck and he just wanted to be petted and held. The two techs said the duck kept following them around like a dog and in a lot of ways he is.

Yep, a cool duck. He gets up on top of home and runs all over it. I spray water at him to try to get him off but he thinks I'm playing with him.

Personally, from my experience I would never recommend anyone buy the Hughes network. You know the one they try to sell you in English on TV? "If you can see the southern sky you can have fast internet."

Once you pay the hundred's of dollars to purchase it you will never hear an American voice again, all your tech calls will go to India. And in my case, there were plenty of snafu's, and internet disconnects, problems with weather and tech's I couldn't even understand.

Beware of the propaganda, it's not true, and it's very expensive monthly.

Heard Hughes was high priced. It is also installed and sold by Beasley. or is it still called BEADUN? not sure, but they really need to come up with something for the rural areas that works....Beasley's doesnt work and the staff is rude, in approx 91% of all my dealings with them, and never ever give them your bank information, because if service goes down you still pay for it and have to change everything to get them out of your financial accounts.
Would NOT recommend these folks.
