We used Bill's Heating and Cooling last year and he was professional and honest. When our AC quit working several times last year, he could have talked us into replacing it. He didn't though. When the AC went out the first time, he fixed it and when that didn't work, he came back the next day and fixed it again for free. He explained everything about our unit to us and gave us an estimate on how long he thinks we could go before we replace it. We also know people who have used this business without any problems or without getting ripped off.

Actually, no, we're not. Bill was referred to us through several friends who have used him. When we bought our house last year, we had no idea that the 15 year old AC unit was near death. Bill got it back to running last year and this past week when it had a huge leak. Am I grateful to the man for being efficient and not charging an arm and a leg? Absolutely! People have different experiences with companies and I was just offering my experience with Bill's Heating and Cooling.

I had Bill replace my heat pump and every thing he did was wrong.He installed 12 inch duct work and it was suppose to be 16.Also he connected it with 12 gauge wire with a 60 amp breaker and it was suppose to be 6 gauge wire with a 50 breaker . He could not get the thermostat to work so he jumpered out two of the wires and he didn't hook up two other wires I finally called Shackle and had them correct the duct work and wired up the unit and thermostat my self. Do not ever call this idiot!!!

Everyone isn't stupid. We all realize the positive reviews are posted from the business to fix their reputation here kn topix.... They are one posted at same time and the first post says they are bills. Funny but one positive or even two with questionable origins does not make up for bad customer experiences. Each bad experience will tell at least ten people that was prior to Internet now just holds true in a worse way. Keep your customers happy and that won't happen.

@funny, weird thing is, I'm an actual customer. I could sit here and say that all the negative reviews are the same person, and it would hold the same amount of weight as you saying that all of the positives are the business. Some people have genuinely good experience with Bill's. When we replace our unit next year, Bill will be getting our business again. Angry people on Topix aren't going to sway our opinion.

I had Bills put a unit in and u have to turn the tv up all the way when its on its so loud. I also had to go back and fix his mistakes. I wont be recommending him.

Well unless things have drastically changed RUUD only have one authorized installer in an area. Is bills a authorized dealer if not then that unit is not warranted thru RUUD. Wait just looked at the RUUD authorized list there are two in town Shankle and Indoor Comfort. check city search or google. On their website it states that to get the RUUD warranty 5yr must be installed by an RUUD installer. So no wonder he says available 24/7 365 he is the warranty. RUUD will cover parts that go bad as long as not related to installation. However, for labor the customer is on the hook.
