The bathroom scare tactic worked very well for Phyllis Schlafly in the old ERA days, and the feminists never addressed the "argument."

Does the bill define "transsexual" so that some insane, fundie, str8 male can't just put on a dress and invade a women's bathroom like an Acorn sting operation?

Fortunately, this tactic didn't work in Gainesville, FL. It's not a sure thing. We need to get people who support us to get out and vote YES on 1856!

HOORAYY!
Update:
ONE KALAMAZOO DECLARES VICTORY IN BALLOT FIGHT
Kalamazoo residents approve nondiscrimination ordinance
''Our campaign started with a very basic idea, and today voters confirmed that we are One Kalamazoo,'' said Campaign Manager, Jon Hoadley.
With only absentee ballots outstanding, 65 percent of Kalamazoo voters have approved Ordinance 1856 by a vote of 6,463 to 3,527, adding protections for gay and transgender people to the city's nondiscrimination ordinance. This margin is larger than the number of outstanding absentee ballots that are currently being counted.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Libra

Get out and about whenever possible today. You're feeling energized and will want to keep active at every opportunity. Leave the car at home if you can and walk to your destination instead, or have a brisk walk in your lunch-hour. It will be even better if you can take a brief holiday from your usual routine and find some different surroundings for a change.
