I agree. With every word u said. And you said it with such grace. God be with you. Because when u loose a child. A part of yr soul dies with them. But God is such an amazing God. He comforts us. And I know without a doubt my son is in heaven having a time of his life. He feels no pain or no sorrow like we do. He don't have to listen to unbelievers like we do.

is this much different than killing somebody with a loaded gun you thought was empty...just horsing around?

Jail or not is no ones business but the law!! Everyone. Needs to shut up. Family is hurting. People are grieving. And all y'all have to do is make it worse. Either families need this. And God for give me. But karma is a bitch! I know. I hurt so bad when I see anyone hurting. But people that condem others I really hurt for. Because one day. You or a loved one WILL stand in someone's shoes that you have condemed. If you mother, daughter or sister was amber. What would you say?? All I'm saying is. Don't judge unless you have walked a mile in that persons shoes. Keep your opinion to yourself. People that love the victim and amber reads this. Neither sides needs to read neg comment. I know I don't want to be judged by no man. Only my Lord. The gentlemen that was killed is Probably looking down with great sorrow that people like u want to condemn a woman that had an accident. I'll say it again and maybe you can understand it. I'm not trying to start trouble. I'm saying something needs to be done to prevent future loss of life. To prevent someone else's loved one being sent to an early grave.

If someone gets drunk, drives a car, causes a crash and kills an innocent victim, the drunk goes to jail. In my opinion, the same thing should apply to someone who is texting and driving.

I'm not even talking about the anger that Johnny's family feels. I'm talking about trying to set an example to discourage texting and driving to prevent another family from being shattered in the future.

You can pray for anyone you want. I encourage that. I pray every day, several times a day. I'll suggest this, though. Pray for yourself. Go back and read your post. Pray for your "holier than thou" attitude you have displayed here.

To clear things up, I'm not claiming to be God. I'm saying there should be consequences for someone's actions. If we throw people in jail for driving while intoxicated, we should throw people in jail for driving while texting. Studies show that texting also impairs driving as bad as drinking does.

I realize I've repeated myself a couple of times, but I'm doing this so you'll understand what I'm getting at.

All you people have is rampant speculation. You don't know if she was on the phone, you don't know if she was texting, and the report I read did not say she was intoxicated....so that doesn't matter.
Everyone knows any moving vehicle has the capability of being a deadly weapon. I do not for one minute believe this woman set out with the idea she was going to cause an accident that resulted in someone losing their life. Accidents happen, it is a fact of life. And further, it's useless to speculate on why it happened. It helps no one, and causes distress to both families who were involved. Put yourself in their shoes for a minute.....
Jail time is excessive in this case. Her insurance will pay, and she will pay heavily both financially and emotionally over this.

I just want to know why she was in the wrong lane. She was where she wasn't supposed to be, that is no accident .

Bottom line if she was on the phone talking or texting she should do prison time, give her time to think about her crime. At best she was guilty of careless driving resulting in a death, which carries jail time. Its about taking responsible for your actions.

Shes guilty on involuntary manslaughter. Accident or not. She goes to jail. If I shoot at a target and it ricochets and hits someone killing them. It's my fault. I'm responsible for that bullet. Just like Amber is responsible for her vehicle.

Check her phone pings. Eye witness saw her texting. That is why she never hit the breaks. There are no crossroads, her vehicle traveled all the way into the ditch. Sorry it is true and the Arkansas State Police knows it's true.

Yes it was. Look at the pic in the newspaper. There was nothing there to stop the vehicle except the ditch. And then drive by the scene and c for urself.

Luckily for her a judge in court will decide .
You all can have your opinions n what not but what the judge & jury decides goes!
Yes what has happened is very unfortunate but god called him home.

I know amber personally and she was NOT on her phone and did nothing illegal to cause the crash, the police will tell u that. She would never do anything intentionally. She feels awful and you shouldn't start rumors that aren't true.
