I would say yes they can make it.But theres always going to be the big three letter word. Age. When you are in your 50s she will be almost 70. But its also like guest said the activity levels. But if its true love don't let anything stand in the way.

Not tring to be a smartass or anything but as I get to thinking about it apparently you have doubt or you would not be asking for advice or what others think. If theres doubt rather the realationship will work or worry about what others will think then no it won't work.

I will have to say that I am in my mid 50's and I can still do the things I did in my 40's and still work most people half my age unded the table. But I think Guest might have been talking about farther on down the line. Or other issues. I don't think he ment anything insulting about being middle age.

I know women in their 60's and a few in their early 70's that still keep a clean house, do gardening, swim or do some type of workout at the gym at least 4 days a week and still have time to babysit the grandkids.
