OK so can you give us the details? Putting together a group of wheelers based on article...do you know where he was heading? Where can volunteers look?

There are "tons" of people who would go looking in the back country for Loren if they were aware he is missing.

PLEASE use your Facebook accounts to spread the word about Loren's disappearance and send a suggestion to ALL your friends to like this page!

Every time someone likes it, "Help Find Loren Harvey - Missing from Paradise, CA" will appear on their newsfeed where others can like the page directly from the link.

If he has had an accident back country and has gone off a cliff, time is of the essence here folks!

This is an extreme emergency! Please do everything you can to help spread the word, especially to everyone you know who goes wheeling.

Here's the link again: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Help-Find-Loren...

He didn't say where he was going, which isn't an abnormal thing for Loren to do, so the family thought nothing of it, but now were on Day #7 of him being gone which is not ok!! Nobody has any idea which way he was going or with whom because his friends and family don't know anything. He is just plain missing. They have looked by aircraft over the highlakes and also several of his friends have been spending hours upon hours up there seeing if that's the direction he went. The idea that he could be up there is simply because of the amount of time he does spend there thinking that's where he could have gone. I know it seems impossible with no direction but someone has got to see him or find him somewhere

What's up with the Paradise Post making this article unavailable. Don't they care about missing people? This sucks!

I agree with you on that, the paradise post should have a picture of him on the front page, but like you no article to read at all.

The same with the police reports, the paradise times suck when it comes to them.
put the pictures of these people arrested for drugs and such so when we see them we know to stay clear of them.
I came from around a small town in Indiana,POP about 10,000, they put everybody who is arrested for crimes in the paper for all to see and they have a topix thread to post thie opinions like this also. ck it out to see whay I mean.braziltimes.com
I would love the post to do the same.of course my main reason is to read the obits, not many of my old friends around anymore

To the Wife: Hang in there, even though it's tough. If, in the event, you do not feel the authorities are of much help, there are things you can do. One important suggestion, do not assume the worse, or rule anything out and take all steps to locate your husband.
1. You have to be 100% truthful with the cops.
2. Like Wall Street & Washington,- FOLLOW THE MONEY. Have you been checking on any credit card charges, debit card withdrawals, cash withdrawals, etc? If he's been stressed or depressed, he may just need some time to think things through and needs some space and time to himself.
3. Check past and current cellphone calls. Also, ATT can track local calls even though they aren't usually willing to assist. There might be a charge.
4. Turn his computer over to the police, or pay a tech person to bypass his passwords (very easily done). Check out facebook and other online sites (a friend found his wife on e-harmony.)
5. Follow old tracks: Where would he previously go? Could he have connected with anyone you may not be aware of? Tracking the phone calls/online sites can be important in this step.
6. Did anyone owe him money, or did he owe them? Is there anyone that he hasn't been getting along with?
7. Keep doing what you're doing online and circulating flyers.

Good luck.

Nobody has given up. Nobody. The PPD bungled the investigation and continue to do so. Also there is a person of interest named duey whom the police would like to speak to.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Pisces

There's a clash today between the past and the present. Someone wants to dwell nostalgically on the good old days but someone else is determined to forget all that and only concentrate on the here and now. The trouble is that neither side will want to concede to the other person's point of view, leading to bad feelings and upsets. If you are one of these people, try not to be too entrenched in your own opinions.
