If we already conserve water, i.e. washing both dishes and clothes with full loads, not flushing the toilet every time, not watering (actually my lawn no longer has grass it's all "natural"), washing my car on the non-existent grass, how can I cut back 50% on water? Yes, charging businesses and residential customers who love to water in the afternoon and let it drain off into the street is a great idea! But for everyone across the board, I'm already conserving! Businesses and home owners really need to adjust their sprinklers, it's always sad to see sprinklers on in the heat of the day, it's just ignorance or stupidity on the landscapers part.

Oh, and by the way please stop throwing out cigaretts along Skyway I will call the police on you. It's dry up here and I would like to come home to Paradise!

Last time the PID asked people to conserve. I did conserved. I bathed my kids every other day, I doubled up the girls in the bath, I washed dishes only by hand and after dinner, I did full loads of laundry, we took gray water to water out plants. Then what happened? The PID cut everyones water by 25%. I learned the hard way, when they ask to conserve, DON'T. Wait until it is mandatory, otherwise you end up having ho water, yet the wasters have all the water they need

Same thing happened to me. I've been conserving since the last drought, now I need to step it up so they can cut me back to where I am now.

I do read the comments and take them into consideration. Your points were discussed at our Board Meeting. If we get to the point of mandatory rationing, we intend to find a way to not penalize those customers that have been conserving all along. I do not anticipate across the board restrictions that reward water wasters.
