Forest Highway 171 has far more problems than money. The $3 million dollar price tag will grow as it is likely to face a law suit here very soon. This was a very poorly designed project with very little done to determine if it will even provide an escape route or if it will just creat a funnel that will kill more people than it would save. CEQA documents did not address the real issues and were approved by the same agency advocating for the project (BCAG). This project WILL get destroyed in court, those wheels are just getting rolling.

Kim Yamaguchi is the only candidate not interested in raising any kind of taxes in Butte county while the two wanta bees have stated that they would raise the sales tax. I just wonder, where would their tax raising stop, especially in this time of everything going through the roof.

I did not say I would raise taxes. I said I would let the voters decide. The incumbent said he wouldn't let the voters decide if they wanted .25% increase in sales tax for the libraries in Butte County.
