Touching article by Jaime O'Neill about Mr. Buffalo. Just heard about his death this morning on KGLT radio in Bozeman Mt.
I saw him and Roy Rogers in Soldotna Ak. in '85 in a small cafe-amazing. Then again in Tomales Ca. early '90s where he played a Halloween party at the town hall in a full head and all real buffalo cape-amazing again. What a musician and powerful performer. Unique.

Great work, Jamie. It seems to me that life presents you with two central questions: how you live and how you die. Norton lived a life of joy and love and died the same way. He's an inspiration for us all. Miss you, Norton!

Jaime, I only saw Norton perform once in Chico at their annual music fest and he was...delightful. All of what you had to say clearly comes straight from the heart and soul. A tribute your friend would surely, or rather is surely causing him to smile down on you right now. I could not get to the end of it myself without crying like a baby though, and I didn't even know this awesome human being except through stories of others, all of which were good. However, after reading this tribute, I feel as though I did get to know Norton on a more personal level because of it.
Thank You...

Great memoir. NB wasn't a musician so much as a force of nature.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Leo

If you ask someone to give you a hand today, don't be surprised if they make a mess of it. That's probably because their mind isn't on the job, but it might also be because your instructions aren't as clear as usual. So before you get angry, check that what you said made sense. Relations with someone older or more influential than you could also be blighted by confusion or doubt now.
