Ray was a fine man. He drove for Jack Cooper transport for many years and was a great driver.
He worked with draft horses many years and was a very knowledgable horseman and rode with the Shine Mounted Patrol for years. He will be remembered as a very friendly and talkative gentleman who was not afraid of hard work. He was one of the last of the Bendorfs from the Somerset, Bucyrus, Louisburg and Paola areas. Rest in peace Ray, you deserve Heaven. jb |
