vacation

My family is planning on vacationing in or around Panama City Beach in a couple weeks. We have never been there and would appreciate any and ALL suggestions/advice possible. I am especially interested in knowing good spots for children and teens and also in good, peaceful spots for lodging. Thank you.

last year was our first trip to pcb. as noted in another post the palmeto inn and suites beachside is great. our daughter loves to eat at sharky's because you can eat on the porch on the beach. shell island is a beautiful island to visit and rock it lanes is great entertainment if it rains(bolwing, skating, arcade. if mini golf is your thing then coconut creek is a great place for mini golf and a human size maze. check out there website for a great deal on the combo ticket for two days. we also like go karting, however were not impressed with the pcb tracks and will drive to destin for a day of outlet mall shopping, go karting, and fudpuckers to see the alligators. hope you have a great time. we will be goin down on the 21st
