Chicago Ridge Park District

Two incumbent commissioners, Mary Crout and Rob Pratl have filed for two full, four-year terms on Chicago Ridge’s seven-member Park District board. Rich Egan has also filed his candidacy for the unexpired term of Commissioner Wayne Hovel who stepped down. Two years remain on that term, park district director Kevin King explained.

Chicago Ridge Library Board

Board president Karen Kucharski and trustee Richard E. Fitzgerald, both incumbents are each seeking re-election to full six-year terms as is Linda L. Boyer. The library is governed by seven elected trustees, four of whom hold the positions of president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary.

Hope the Ridge residents can expect a visit from some of these candidates. Change is good.

For the Davies/Lind/Barker slate to try to hold themselves out as better candidates than Dan Badon is huge laugh. None of them has ever served our country like Dan. None of them has ever put in the kind of time with the youth of our community like Dan has. None of them has his leadership qualities. They will criticize Dan at your door. They will not criticize him in person. Think about that.

So much for the party. Lynnie is an independent already. Five people have filed to run for three village board trustee seats. The candidates include two incumbent trustee candidates, Michael R. Where it says vote for more than 1, you don't have to. You can just vote for 1. Odds get better on them winning instead of giving the others more votes. Think about it.How can I get a BADON sign?

Don't tell me how to execise my right to vote. I have 3 votes and I will vote for 3 people. I would be outraged if Dan knew or was part of this outrage.
Dan, do you advocate only one vote, for you? If you do shame on you.

See how people read into things? I never told anyone how to vote. People get bad information and sometimes not enough to know really how things work. Never said I was voting for Dan. I might not even live there! Relax dude.

And you spelled exercise wrong.

Can you imagine how bad things will get when both Streit and Davies are out of office? With nothing else to do they will bother every village, school and park board that they can. They will drink in bars every night and start fights. They will.....hold on they do that right now. Vote 'em out. They are big boys. They can handle it.
