Carbon tells buses to avoid bridge

What route will the students that live on the other side of the bridge take to get to school? How long will it take?

I travel the bridge at least 2-4 times a day. Again yesterday I witnessed a construction truck with a trailer crossing the bridge. Where is the enforcement? Signs should be posted at the bottom of the Blue Mountain regarding the change in weight restrictions.

Tell Penndot to get moving on the other bridge I think it's ridiculous that it's taken this long. And for you speedtats would you let your 5 or 6 year old walk to school with no sidewalks on the street!!! I think NOT!!!!!

Concerned you have a good point there is no enforcement, and will not be any enforcement due to the fact that Lower Towamensing Township does not have a local police department and is covered by PA State Police out of the Lehighton Barracks.

To Speedtats, Why would you even say something like that? Do you know first hand how far away some of these kids live from the school? Busses are essential! So is the saftey of our children! Grow up.
