The facts are the facts. Whitman is right there is no excuse for not registering to vote. It is one of our of our most sacred rights as citizens and responsibilities. People all over the world die for the right to vote. Ask the millions of US citizens who register every year to vote how hard it was to register and then vote. We are based on a representative government. I would not want Whitman to represent me and my vote since she has so little experience or understanding or value of voting.

You are correct in that she definitely should have voted, but should that be the basis on which to decide on supporting a candidate ? There seems to be an issue,or event that
garners the public's attention for one to two weeks where the public gets legitimately
angry (some events generate "fake indignation")and the issue disappears. I am not a
supporter of Ms. Whitman, but it seems that there are plenty of legitimate issues within
the state of California without manufacturing an issue out of her lack of exercising
the special duties and rights we have as citizens of our great reprresentative government.

I say California needs a strong leader with the experience of Meg Whitman to get us on the right path. Is registering to vote at a later age than most really an issue if she has a storng hand to stand up to the legislature and untions and start California back on the road to economic recovery? We NEED someone with her guts and fortitude to lead California. Go Meg!

When she lays off those 40,000 State workers, that is really going to start California back on the road to economic recovery--you bet!!

NO ONE WANTS A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BROKEN AND CONTINUE TO BREAK OUR LAWS. JUST ENFORCE THE E-VERIFY SYSTEM FOR EMPLOYERS AND WHEN THE ILLEGAL ALIENS (THEY ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM) ARE UNABLE TO STEAL AN AMERICANS' JOB, THEY WILL LEAVE OF THEIR OWN ACCORD AS HAS BEEN EVIDENCED IN THE STATES IT HAS BEEN USED IN SUCH AS AZ!
MEXICO HAS A HIDDEN AGENDA CALLED "AZTLAN" (ALSO KNOWN AS "LA RECONQUISTA) WHERE THEY PLAN TO TAKE OVER FIRST THE SW, THEN THE U.S. AND THROW ALL THE "GRINGOS" OUT (& MURDER ANY THAT DO NOT GO WILLINGLY). THEY ARE PRESENTLY "COLONIZING THE 50 STATES" AND GETTING READY FOR THE "RECONQUISTA" (RECONQUEST) AS THEY CALL IT! AND THERE ARE NOT 12 MILLION - THEY HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS NOW FOR 7 YRS. THERE ARE BETWEEN 20 AND 60 MILLION OF THEM - A VERITABLE 5TH FACTION.

Whitman's candidacy is DOA, just like Newsome's. It will be Jerry Brown in the end.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. They are all a bunch of gasbags anyway. Say one thing. Get in office. Do another. Rinse and repeat. Its sad.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Gemini

Grit your teeth as Mars turns retrograde, as things annoyingly don't go to plan. Certain people are going out of their way to be difficult. Is an older relative throwing the proverbial weight around and telling you what to do? The greater the gap between your ages or social status, the more irritated you'll be.
