Palm Springs has a new mayor. What would you like for Steve to accomplish while in office?

The best thing any Mayor of Palm Springs could do is lose the White Parade Celebration and bring back the College Babes for Spring Break Festivities. Time to Straighten out the Social Order of the town for the better.

Since THE DESERT PLAZA will need to be torn down regardless, why not do it NOW??? hat is the holdup for demolition?

Agreed-tear down the mall or put stores in it--and not all high end--we don't all have money falling out of our rear ends (that's why the original one failed in the first place). Also allow new stores in all the other vacant areas to open up and thrive (hopefully). The rent is just too high.
Also make it more diverse around here-make it appealing to everyone-not exclusively the gay community. |

Idi, sorry you don't like the diversity of our PS. The gay community have always been a part of this great place and has been the energizing force in our city. PS wouldn't be what it is without the gay community. If you are a bigot then PLEASE find somewhere else to spend your vactions - Intolerance is NOT welcomed here!
