Review: Our Ocean Dreams Inc

I attempted to obtain my advance certification through OUR OCEAN DREAMS and got royally screwed. They said the only location they are willing to complete my final dives is in KEY LARGO. Due to limited time and funds from being a Paramedic, it was not affordable. Paramedics don't make much and even when they are supporting a family with a child. They were looking to charge me more for the instructors time to dive locally. It has been well over a year and all I've gotten were insults about my current financial situation. I worked extra hours so my wife could become certified. Unfortunately, she is in the same predicament. Horrible service with terrible attitude for those trying there best. I would not recommend this store to anyone who is looking to become certified. Mac's sports seems a lot better to me, plus they are cheaper to get certified from where I stand.

I was just on the last dive trip to key largo and I dont see what people on here are talking about. I took my teeneage son with me and he thought it was a blast. I have and will refer more people to Ouroceandreams.com

Proceed with caution with Kevin at Our Ocean Dreams. The shop is shaky financially and he runs it by the seat of his pants. It's all about him and it's hit and miss if you are getting the best instruction. He loses contacts quick in Key Largo and isn't concerned about keeping customers.

This came from a former employee and is in no way true. Sad that disgruntal employees can't just go find another job.

Went by this shop to find it looking like a break in. Everything is gone. Looks like to me there are done!

I guess that's not a shocker. When you start getting bad reviews, then there's a problem if people are willing to go online and post it. It usually means there are many many more unhappy customers. I guess the good news is that he can always blame it on the economy instead of bad business practices. But it seems to me that in this day and time if you have loyal customers who like how you treat them, they will spend their money with you.
