And before you say it, there's no such thing as a "race card". That's just a smoke screen to try and throw people of the subject of the ongoing racial attacks.

Finally, the county's dirtly little scret is out--Latinas and Black women are routinely seen as "bad" mothers and white women are seen as "good" mothers. Too often, affluent families can hide the abuse and neglect of their children behind gated communities and private schools that need the tuition payments to continue to roll in.

Unfortunately, ALL poor people get the crappy end of the justice system.
Unless some swingin' dick attorney wants TV time or takes their case because they foresee a giant settlement.
Why would a hospital drug test a person with insurance and risk that doctor not bringing his/her business there? It's all about money.
There is no doubt in my mind that the personal doctor already knows their patient is a drug addict.

Seems to me Barrio Girl that affluent families include black and brown. You need to stop making such extreme racist statements like "Latinas and Black women are routinely seen as "bad" mothers and white women are seen as "good" mothers." That is just a pile of crap. I'm a white woman that lives in a majority Latino community. Plenty of them have children and they all seem to be "good" mothers even though they don't have a huge bank account.

You are correct. Too often the hosital staff will ASSume that the black or latino parent is the bad parent even though we know that the majority of meth users, pill poppers and cocaine users are not black or latino. Look at the poster who posted "yawn", that is the best he can do when the truth is shown. I say test everybody, stop this unequal treatment.

they need to take diversity classes lot of times i worked at a hospital in the valley young lady came to the ER suicidal because her newborn father had left them. the young lady left her child with her mother while she went to the hospital. A new social worker fresh out of school was attempting to call DCFS because she felt the lady had abandoned her newborn. the worker should know its just a cultural thing that blacks and brown grandparents are proactive in raising their grandchildren even if both parents are there and there is no problems

Look at the crime statistics. The numbers are quite clear. Proportionately, whites are the least likely to attack people of other races. Call me a racist, but it's the truth.

This is a load of bunk. It's as racist as the crime rate, education rate, drop out rate or SAT test scores. It simply reflects reality that the African-American loving media and liberals refuse to accept. Anything negative to do with blacks is somehow racist, no matter how true or self inflicted it is.

You are an example of someone who babbles about racism so you can deflect any sense of responsibility away from your precious minorities. By the way, where do these figures about drug use and child neglect come from? At least white kids have a much better chance of being born into a two parent household where neither of them are in jail or on welfare.

I did look at the crime statistics. Obviously you didn't. Did you choose to forget about the hostile takeover of lands that already had people living there? The whole going into a foreign country and enslaving its citizens? We made treaties with the native Americans and then broke them without blinking an eye. We went to Africa and bribed some Africans to turn against their own and sell them into slavery. We introduced opium to Asia in the hopes that we could take over while they were busy chasing the dragon. During WWII we sent Japanese citizens to internment camps. Yes, we were at war with Japan. But we were also at war with the Germans and Italians and yet we didn't separate them from the rest of the population. The bottom line? How about this: Blacks have a homicide rate 11 times that of whites, and neighborhoods where noone non-black can venture even during the day, that is nonsense. Now. i bet you want my sources don't you.

And if it is true that abuse is more common among whites (!?), then it is whites, soon to be the minority, who are underserved.
I wouldn't get to euphoric over the soon-to-be-minority status of whites. They're the ones who buy your newspapers.
