They expect to continue to live and work as if they were back in their native country with no need to learn english. This is why most people have a problem. I am married to a hispanic woman and there are older members of her family who have lived in this country for 30 years and have never learned english. I think this is disgraceful. You come here for a better life, which you achieve, but yet feel no need to learn the language. By the way, my wife speaks both languages and HATES it when people speak spanish first to her. We walked right out a store in Miami when that happened.

I can't believe how mean and ignorant people are. The fact that they use the term "Senorita Suerte", doesn't necessarily mean that they do not speak or understand English. Sedanos is a Latin grocery store and most people speak their native language. I personally speak Spanish whenever I go there and it doesn't mean that I am either in welfare or unable to speak English. The other issue is that there is no such thing as an illegal Cuban, as soon as they touch US land, they are protected by special laws. I am glad that somebody in need won the money. Hope he can manage his fortune wisely. And to all the people who are trashing this person, you can insult the guy as much as you want out of envy, but in the end, he is the one who got the millions.

I am hoping that the wetfoot/dryfoot law is cancelled. The answer is not to import another countries problems to this one.
