"Tired of Paying," I agree with you; ever since society started this nonsense of treating criminals as the victims, our crime rate has skyrocketed. What are we supposed to do with criminals, sit in a circle with them and sing a couple of choruses of "Kumbaya?" Geez. Anyhow, seeing that this guy has a long happy list of prior offenses, it's not like he's a candidate for citizen of the year! If he was innocent, why did he bail from the car? Most "normal" people in such a situation would be too scared to even move! But we'll probably have to endure a bunch of nonsense from his lawyer, family, and so on, about what a really sweet guy he is, how he'd never hurt anyone, and how any previous crimes he may have committed were actually the fault of the police and society, as everyones' always been against him, and blah, blah, blah. OK, let me amend my previous statement for the politically correct; ASSUMING HE IS FOUND GUILTY, then make the punishment fit the crime! Is that ok?

People are innocent until proven guilty, so I don't know if he's the dude or not. But Sweet Fancy Moses-what a mullet he has!!!

If true and he is found guilty, he should be tied to a stake and all those who lost homes and posessions in these fires should be allowed to light the wood surrounding the stake. Burn this fool up just like they did with the witches of Salem.

You totally missed the point.

Am I the only one who is sick of the "liberal" label being thrown around here? It is such a weak crutch. I'm not even a liberal, but I wanna puke evertime it is used on this site. When it is used it throws up a big red flag that the idiot posting it doesn't have the mental capacity to understand that there are more than 2 types of people in this world, and not just those who are labeled conservative or liberal.

I wasn't the one who arrested him several times before and then let him back out into society to commit crimes again without any type of mental screening or therapy. I guess they were suppose to execute him after his previous larceny charge to avoid this from happening? You sound like you could use some therapy or possibly some Christian values.

When will we stop making excuses for everyone's behavior? I've got a word for you folks - Accountability. People need to be held accountable for their actions. There are many criminals who are repeat offenders because jail time is easier than the real world. They get 3 squares a day, cable tv, free education, and a roof over their head. Our soldiers, who defend our freedom to bitch about things like this, get less living space in much worse conditions. I agree with the person who spoke of Alcatraz...prison should not be so attractive, it should be hell on earth!

Tie him to a chair and touch a flame to the bottom hem of his pants. Grab a section of the Orlando Sentinel and wave it back and forth to fan the flames. When it gets to his collarbone, break out the wienies and marshmallows and sing campfire songs. Hopefully his screams will be louder, more painful and more horrific than the poor homeowners that lost their homes due to this prix actions.
