"'This is an isolated incident; this does not normally happen at a Scout camp,' said Jack Sears"
Hum,'It does not normally happen', implying that it has happened before, or at least on more than one occasion. What the hell are they teaching Boy Scouts these days?

The kid was probably a little jerk and deserved it. They wouldn't have done it just for kicks.

One of these days, these adult bullies are going to mess with the wrong person's kid. And there will be a related story that will end very badly for the bully. Just sayin'.

So then a teenager should be held down by three others and forced to drink urine because, well hey why not? Seriously, that's your input?

The article is so full of how there are such "few incidents" and doesn't give the full attention this case should have had.

The way life is right now is to teach our children more and more aggressive behavior. Then we wonder why our young parents can't cope without abusing their children. That's the coping skills they were taught!

The Boy Scouts need to have ZERO tolerance. And at the moment, they don't. Their "head leaders" condone this behavior. Much like the military: code red... just don't tell anyone.

The "little jerk" was forced. If he did anything wrong to another teenager, then he should have been reprimanded correctly.

He is being taught to deal with problems by being forceful.

Adults need to take responsibility and start teaching our children what's right and what's wrong.

Except in cases of kidney or urinary tract infection, urine is virtually sterile and nearly odorless.

Oh, yeah, and that story, of me whippin' up on the scoutmaster and you would make the CNN and the YouTube highlight reel. For realz!

Have you ever noticed the affect asparagus has on urine? Weird stuff.

On topic though, no matter what the kid did, it took 3 other kids and an "adult" to make him drink urine. And they still got in trouble for it.

I would be proud to call the urine drinker mine...

Mr. Reid, the 21 year old is a big man.....intimidating and assaulting a 12 year old. Perhaps, he's too stupid to reallize that within 6 years, this 12 year old will become, physically, a man and more than likely, a man with a bit of anger for his former tormentors.
When I was 13, I was constantly picked on and beat up by an 17 year old and his buddies. Within a few years, I grew, they didn't. I looked them up, one at a time, after I came back from my stint with the Marines. Payback can be a b i t c h.

Good grief you can't really be that stupid, it means nothing of the sort.

I suggest you look up isolated - it means singular or solitary.

Likewise "not normally" means outside the norm, not conforming to a standard or pattern - atypical.

So, Yes, it doesn't normally happen, it was a solitary event.

Oh this is just super. As if the Boy Scout organization wasn't already in deep enough trouble nationwide we need "prison guard goons" at scout camp. Well, add one more lifelong enemy to the list. You've created a lasting enemy and one that probably will get a lawyer and sue the Hell out of the organization. There are kids who act up, act out, but you cannot use physical force and for God's sake something nasty like this on them. Get this adult OUT and those kids that helped him OUT as well.
