Twin brothers die in Lake County trailer fire
Officials this morning said the toddler pulled from a trailer fire in northeast Lake County on Wednesday died hours later at Arnold Palmer Hospital.

All because that dumb-arse women was smoking around her oxygen. Stupid!

At least the poor babies will be taken care of above. Our family will keep theirs in our prayers. Hoping for the mom to pull thru also.

THAT IS AWFUL AND NOT POINTING FINGERS BUT WHAT WAS THAT LADY THINKING SMOKING WITH AN OXYGEN TANK AND BABIES IN THE HOUSE......I HAVE TWINS AND THERE IS NO WAY I COULD IMAGINE LOSSING ONE LET ALONE BOTH. I WOULD WANT TO DIE MYSELF AS LONG AS THERE ARE NO OTHER CHILDREN WAITING FOR ME TO COME HOME. I HAVE 5 KIDS TOTAL AND I WOULDNT WANT TO LOSE ANY OF THEM IN A TRAGIC WAY. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE MOTHER AND THE FAMILY. IM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

Another news outlet stated she had 2 older children also, who were at daycare at the time of the fire. I would be devistated loosing even one of my children, let alone 2. I really hope she pulls thru this for the sake of the others. |

OMG those poor babies, and their poor parents having to deal with losing both of their kids. My heart goes out to them as well as their friends and families. Will there be a fund set up for the services for these babies?

All he did was state a FACT. Who died and made you queen-bee here? The person SMOKING around an OXYGEN tank is obviously a certifiable moron!!! Heartbreaking to hear of deaths like these...I can't imagine losing two kids like that. I really do feel sorry for the rest of the family and hope they can cope the best way possible under the circumstances. |

As a firefighter and father this not only saddens me, it absolutly angers me! I have personally been to three fires this year alone caused by people smoking while on home O2! This is irresponsible selfish behavior that has now cost the live of two little boys! My heart goes out to the family and my prayers are for the eternal rest of those two boys.

This is so heartbreaking and all the more so because it didn't have to happen. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends, and also for the firefighters and other emergency services workers who responded to this call. As a former volunteer firefighter/EMT, I know from firsthand experience that the firefighters, etc., are grieving because they couldn't save the little ones.

I can imagine your feelings about this tragedy - my brother was one of those people who did the same thing, he'd smoke while using his 02 tank. I would fuss at him to no avail, he'd insist there was no danger. |
