Earlier today, I received Target's catalog for pre-lit Christmas Trees. In an act of open distain for Christmas, and anyone who celebrates it, the word "Christmas" was deliberately ommitted from the entire catalog. Target called all of the trees "Specialty Trees." This was apparently Target's response to catholic groups asking Target to return the words "Merry Christmas" to its stores. To those of you who celebrate Christmas, as I do, please do not by "Specialty Trees," or anything else for Christmas, from Target, and spread the word to everyone else you know.

I enjoy spending my money a Target. I would much rather go to Target than Wal Mart.

If you're going to be offended by the term "holiday tree" or "speciality tree", you have other issues that have nothing to do with retailer's marketing practices.

I don't shop at Target anyways, they are too high. Can get the same stuff at walmart for a lot less.

I agree with you - I always tell people Merry Christmas. I am tired of this "season's greetings" or "happy holidays". This nation really HAS taken Christ out of Christmas!

By the way, saw an ad somewhere that Target was selling a "black kids's computer desk" - what, white kids can't have a computer desk now? LOL

I will never shop at Target again, EVER!!! This holiday started because of Christ. If you want a Holiday tree, then start a new Holiday called "HOLIDAY". Problem solved. A brand New Holiday complete with it's own tree. We have the Christmas Tree Holiday on December 25th. And a Holiday Tree Celebration Holiday on a day of your choosing. I love solving problems.. And the kids get and extra week or two off school for this new holiday.

These look like Christmas trees to me. And they are even called Christmas trees. Where do you folks come up with this stuff?

I quit shopping at Target the day my daughter and tried returning a baby shower gift without a reciept. It was a baby swing priced at $169.00, and it was broke. Target would not take care of us because the item was over $70.00. We walked out of the store with a defective baby swing, the girl at the return desk and her supervisor both said "sorry, anything over $70.00 without a reciept can't be refunded" even though it was defected. Told us to call 1-800-bull-crap they also said "sorry". Walmart it is!

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Taurus

This is a day for turning your attention to your finances, especially if you're currently working on the budget for domestic improvements or changes. Talk to the other people concerned and really listen to what they're saying. They'll have some great insights. It will be far more productive to work as a harmonious team rather than as warring factions.
