The operator of the Clarksville track knows you have to treat people with some respect and make them feel appreciated. Clarksville may be run down and old but most people would rather go there than PIR anyday

2 reasons.

#1. He has lowered the purse for ALL divisions, plus cutting super late models out all together.

#2. They have been super lazy with track prep. It has been one lane at the top of the turns. Drivers eventually got fed up, and are boycotting the track. They did have a good track this past friday due to mother nature putting more water on the surface.

The track wasn't all that great even with the extra water. Nothing new for them to turn the track into a mud pit they just didn't have to get the water truck out to do it this week. car counts were almost non existant and the stand were almost empty. Didn't see much passing either.

Watch out there is a Darrell guy that kisses PIR's rearend, he will get on here and tell you they are the greatest thing that ever was. The best track in the U.S., PIR could do alot better, treat your drivers with respect, stop being so greedy, and think about doing some upgrading on your facility. This isn't the early 70's anymore, Which wouldn't be so bad if the racing was good people could overlook the poopoo facility.

Come on Richie, you know PIR is the greatest dirt track on mother earth!

There is a lot of changes they could make and it could be the greatest but....... Things have got to change and change now I'm tired of driving to Clarksville

I was told that the "Darrell" guy the reason he kisses pir's rear end is because Bob Sargent cornered him into the office and threatned him that if he continued bashing the track, and Bob that he would be banned from the track permanently. Not sure if that is true. Just what I heard.

Have heard the same thing. He should have just reminded Bob that as a citizen he has rights to free speach as long as he isn't slandering him and then just stomped his ass for being a fucktard.

Did any of you guys have one of those slot car tracks growing up? I remember having one that the inside lane had a short in it and wouldn't work right. We would put both cars in the outside lane and eventually the second car would knock the other one off the track in a corner. It was just like the racing at PIR when you really think about it.

Haven't really thought about it that way race fan but that is probably about the best wasy to describe racing at PIR.

Yeah I agree 100%. Total disrespect to a paying customer.

How many of you guys were at PIR friday night? Not real sure why I asked that because I knew almost everyone I saw there. So sad how few cars and fans. The place won't be here much longer like that.

I can't believe only 6 mods were in the feature.lol Bob must have pissed the mod drivers off for them not to come. They were getting 20 plus mods a week.
