I heard that his neighbor was a drunk and was constantly yelling at Mr. Warren's children as they played outside, rode the four wheeler etc. That previous day the two had words and Mr. Warren called the police and they arrested the drunk neighbor. The next day when the neighbor got out of jail he met Mr. Warren in his driveway coming home from work and shot him. This harrassment by the drunk neighbor had been going on a while, and that Mr. warren was a good Christian man tring to raise his family, how sad for his family.

NO TO DEFEND THE KILLER, BUT HE IS NOT A DRUNK AND PERRY ONLY HAD ONE CHILD AND HE IS NOT OLD ENOUGH TO RIDE A FOUR WHEELER. THE KILLER NEVER WENT TO JAIL AND THE KILLER IS A SICK MAN MENTALLY AND THE PROBLEMS WITH THE NEIGHBORS HAS BEEN GOING ON ALONG TIME. PERRY WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE HE HAD PROBLEMS WITH. I AM ALSO A NEIGHBOR, I NEVER HAD ANY DEALING WITH THE KILLER. BUT HE SHOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO LIVE IN SOCIETY. PERRY LEFT BEHIND A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY, A FAMILY THAT WILL NEVER NO WHAT LIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN TO GROW OLD WITH A LOVEING HUSBAND AND FATHER. IF THE LAW IN KY WOULD HAVE DONE WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ALONG TIME AGO THIS TRAGIC MURDER WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED.

The man who shot Perry Warren is in jail. He will be on trial for murder. No, he is not a drunk and yes he does have mental issues, otherwise he would not have built a barricade surrounding his house. However, this man had very good reason to complain and live in fear of Perry Warren.
The man that will be on trial is NOT a murderer. This is a retired 66 year old man who keeps to himself and would not harm anyone unless they were trying to harm him. He shot at Perry Warren after Perry Warren shot at him. He shot Mr. Warren in self defense of his life. He had complaints about Mr. Warren for many years and the Carlisle County Sheriff along with the County Attorney did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! They took none of his complaints seriously. Kenneth Jones repeatedly complained and voiced concern regarding the activities that were taking place in his neighborhood. He went to talk to Perry Warren to ask him to stop tormenting him, as he asked him time and time again. Mr. and Mrs. Warren laughed at this man and referred to him as a 'crazy old man' living next door to them. The Warrens, along with the other close neighbors provoked this man in many ways. These people knew that Mr. Jones had mental issues but they also knew that some of his complaints were legitimate complaints. This will all come out in the trial and everyone, including the Warren's Holiness religious support, will know what a violent and horrible man Perry Warren actually was. I truly believe that Mr. Jones will definitely serve jail time but I also believe that it will be proven that Mr. Jones shot this man in self defense and that Mr. Jones was repeatedly provoked and tormented by Mr. Warren. Please listen to both sides of the story and know the facts before you judge someone and label them a murderer.

How could you say that about such a wonderful man. He isn't even here to defend himself. The Warrens are a good family and yes they are Holiness. Their family has had deal with a lot. Perry's cousin, my best friend burned up in a car crash about 8 years ago. I have never seen such a close family and church family... The way they took care of each other and pulled through such an awful situation. I'm sure this situation was handled no differently.

They are good people. He was a good man. You shouldn't talk about him that way.

My sympathy goes out to the family once again. Rest in peace Perry Warren and Jessica Warren.

I am sure that Perry Warren's parents are good people and it is unfortunate that they have had to endure the tragedies that you mentioned. I also can't imagine what their life has been like these past few months after losing their son. They have been in my prayers more than you know. I am a Christian and ordinarily I would not make such strong comments about an individual who is deceased unless I had reliable facts and reason to and I do. As I said before, Perry Warren's actions and behavior will be revealed at the time of the trial. Let me know then if you still feel that he lived a good life and was a 'wonderful man'. Simply because his parents are good people and he comes from a good family does not necessarily mean that HE was a good person.

No matter what you think of him, you should have the decency not to talk that way about someones deceased family member.

I think we all know that there is two sides to every story and I would say that this runs true in this situation, but, I dont think that there is any way that Kenneth Jones or anyone else, can even begin to try an justify or defend his actions. What he did was wrong and evil. He Murdered Perry Warren on Perrys own property.

To reply to 'anonymous' regarding "....having the decency not to talk about someone's family member..." What about Mr. Jones' family? Does anyone ever think about his family? He is not deceased but his family has lost him (to incarceration, mental illness)....has anyone thought about how his family feels about the comments made about him? From anyone's perspective who has followed the story I think it is obvious that Mr. Jones has mental issues, otherwise he would not have felt the need to build the fence around his home. From what I understand this case could have very easily been reversed with Perry Warren on trial for the murder of Mr. Jones. No one knows....Mr. Jones obviously was trying to protect himself from someone. He has not been convicted of anything regardless of where the shooting happened and he will have the opportunity to tell his story and defend himself...that is the purpose of the trial.

I never said anything bad about the man or his family. I know from experience that we can't control what our family does. Both families suffer when a tragidy like this happens. Just like the boy who overdosed in Mayfield, and the boy who has been charged with his death. My heart goes out to both families. They have both lost a child. Im sure that Mr. Jones has family also, and my heart goes out ot them. I'm sure that the Warren family is praying for him and his family. Thats just the kind of people they are.

Sounds like some is trying to justify Mr. Jones killing Mr. Warren. I don't care what the issues/excuse may be, Mr. Jones had NO right to take someones life. There are other ways to deal with problems than walk around killing someone.

So everytime I have a dissagreement or problem with someone, should I just pull out a gun and kill them? I THINK NOT!!! Come on now!
