Hello everyone!
I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive (but safe daycare) for my 2, almost 3 year old. Any recommendations?

My kids have always gone to Kids Kare in lone oak. The kids love it! I have had nothing but a positive experience there. Everyone is always very friendly. I recently tried munchkinland and had a horrible time leaving the kids because I knew that the girls caring for them were "party" girls. I understand what they do on their own time is their business but I felt it was very unprofessional for them to be discussing it at work. I love all the ladies at Kids Kare. My favorite is the girl that usually answers the door. Super sweet and ALL the kids love her. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. Good luck on your search.

I wouldn't recommend building blocks for Christ. That place is a joke. Try care.com . that's where I found a babysitter for my 2 daughters

I am a employee at building blocks and it is the best place to work. If u were treated bad it was prob because u deserved it or who ever you are complaining for did. The owner is super nice and all the girls are great and everyone knows what they r doing.

Most daycare workers are not good teachers. They are young girls looking for a job and free daycare for their own job. Very few places around here will you find a childcare with qualified teachers who are there for more then a pay check.

Everyone is out for pay checks. Even teachers at schools work for a pay check. Now they may also do it to help the kids too but they wouldn't do it for free. I know of a few people that work at daycares as a job and end up making it a career and are very good at it. BBlocks has qualified teachers.

Does building blocks still have mold on the walls under the kids pictures.? Do they still have a mouse problem, where the mice come out during nap time under the kids cots? Does the Amanda girl with glasses still work there? When she cooked food, like the chicken patties, they were still frozen sometimes. And she would tell kids to eat them anyway. Does Danielle still work there? She thought it was funny when a child got another child's poppy diaper and smeared himself with it.

So sad the things that go on at these places and the parents don't have a clue! I could share some mouse, food stories as well from other centers in the area, but I won't. Just make sure you checkout EVERYTHING before you send your child there. Ask to talk to current and past parents!

None of them girls have worked there for a while.
