There is absolutely no comparison. MARIJUANA wins by a land-slide! Definitely no debate. If folks would start making their own brew again, alcohol would be illegal again.

Both are terrible and can cause problems for many. It would hard to say which is worse but marijuana has been known to lead to other drugs. Alcohol can lead to alcoholism. Both can cause serious issues in families and destroy them.

Marijuanna will ruin your life only because it is illegal. If it wasn't illegal the only problems it would cause is longer lines at fast food places. If they made marijuanna legal how would they be able to pay for that fancy bubble tent thing?

The only reason pot is illegal is because it would be so difficult to tax. It's not that lawmakers actually care about the health or well-being of anyone.

It's not something I would ever do, but I'm not under the impression that it can alter your judgement to the extent of alcohol.

I will say that if I had cancer or some other ailment where it would help with naseau or pain, I would do it in a second; but not for recreational purposes.

You don't hear much about some one being high and getting into a fight or having a wreck and killing somebody but you hear about a death or car crash daily involving alcohol

That's for sure. If anything, I would think it would relax you and probably make you LESS irritable so less prone for confrontation. I've never seen any evidence that it impairs judgement. I think it could slow your reflexes if it really does relax you that much, but, compared to alcohol, it seems fairly tame. Once again, I would never do it, but, it's not illegal because it's, oh-so bad. It's all about taxation.

If it were legal I would be smoking one right now. I used to be a daily smoker and eventually quit so that I could get a good job; which I now have. It wasn't hard to quit even after many years of smoking it and my brain functions no differently now as compared to before. If it were legal I would much rather catch my son smoking pot than cigarettes because that is one habit that I can't seem to quit.

Marijuana is worse because it causes long term issues, not to mention that it's a federally banned substance

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Scorpio

You're in a very romantic and sentimental state today. You're also feeling quite sensitive and vulnerable, so you won't want to be around anyone you find abrasive or aggressive. If you meet someone for the first time now you'll think they're wonderful and your relationship will always involve putting them on a pedestal. But don't be too idealistic. They are human, remember!
