Clinton, Obama Face Off In California Debate

Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton sparred, for the most part cordially, over immigration, health care and the war in Iraq in their first one-on-one debate on Thursday as they faced high-stakes ...

Should, by a miracle, this dude become president, then all you homosexuals, including 95% of San Fransico and in Hollywood, better flee to Venezuela. ZOr your heads will be on the block.

Ubama receives UNLIMITED funds form Iraq, Iran and from Dubai. They want a muslim president here for obvious reason.

Then all females will be wearing berkas and males doo-rags on their heads. All other religions will be abolished.

Beside Ubama being a muslim, he also has a criminal record, dealing with drugs, among other things, as reported by national radio talk show hosts.

I watched the debate last night. On policy issues the two candidates differ little on policy issues. The differences are minor. One big point tho' is we DO need a president who will be right on day one. Remember, Hillary voted for the Iraq war.

But the real choice becomes one of leadership style and the kind of campaign they run. The Clinton negative campaigning in Iowa turned me off. The Clinton attempt at playing the "race" card in South Carolina was offensive and divisive. The role of Bill Clinton in the campaign has crossed the line in many ways -- will he cross the line (as Hillary did) as first spouse?

And then, where do the two candidates campaign funds come from. Hillary Clinton has accepted more money from registered lobbyists than any other candidate in either party. Here's a break down of the top five recipients of lobbyist money:
Hillary Clinton (D)
$567,950

John McCain (R)
$340,365

Christopher J. Dodd (D)
$233,875

Mitt Romney (R)
$229,475

Rudolph W. Giuliani (R)
$212,100

And then there is big OIL/GAS. Hillary leads the democratic candidates there too.
Rudolph W. Giuliani (R)
$545,058

Mitt Romney (R)
$309,933

Hillary Clinton (D)
$220,550

John McCain (R)
$189,935

Bill Richardson (D)
$126,600

So, what favors does Hillary now "owe" her donors? Who is she "in bed with"?

A Politico.com reader asked a very good question. She said she's 38 years old and has never had the opportunity to vote when there wasn't either a Bush or a Clinton on the ticket. How is another Clinton going to bring real change.
Uh huh.

This country absolutely needs to move forward with positive change. We need unity, not division. Obama is the man.

Obama gets my vote.

The above campaign fund democRat watchdog is long on copy and paste, gibberish and extremely short on thought. For if there was thought the above mom would smell Marxism flowing throughout the modern day democRat Party. And, if mom had an ounce of integrity or honor she would be saying "hell no" to any democRat.
After months of witnessing congressional jerks like O'Bama, Hillary et al embolden the enemy of The United States and undermine The United States Military while on the battlefield it would seem common sense would set in and the demise of the democRat Party would be concluding about now. Instead cheering spoon-fed fools and suckers flock to democRat trinket promises like flies flock to poop. And, in doing so they sell out their own country…pathetic.
If going into Iraq were left up to self-serving, pompous, astute looking mental midgets like O'Bama today a stronger than ever Saddam (AKA The Butcher of Baghdad) would be reconstituting his nuclear program all while his demented sons would be waiting to take the helm. This is the gift the likes of O'Bama and his ilk would have reserved for the futures of today's pint sized kids to grow up and do the job O'Bama and his gutless ilk would have ran from.
But all thanks to President GW Bush and the United States Military the hope of freedom lives in Iraq and Afghanistan while oppression sneaks, hides and dies.
Yes indeed, self-serving despicable treasonous congressional democRats like O’Bama and Hillary are eager and content to leave the good men, women and children of Iraq for the wolves.
If you do not think they would do the same to you and yours...think again.

What a joke! Please start praying for America.

Ron Paul is the only candidate to speak facts and he is dismissed.

Obama and Clinton can not even say "illegal Imigration" Do you think they will solve it?

They will allow 20% of Mexico's population to move here and complete the ReConquista!

It’s a good practice to follow the money. Last week Bill Clinton was on a different mission which involves big bucks and political favors. Is hard to know what would happen if the Clintons returned to the White House. Check out the articles listed below:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/31/us/politics...
Just months after the Kazakh pact was finalized, Mr. Clinton’s charitable foundation received its own windfall: a $31.3 million donation from Mr. Giustra that had remained a secret until he acknowledged it last month. The gift, combined with Mr. Giustra’s more recent and public pledge to give the William J. Clinton Foundation an additional $100 million, secured Mr. Giustra a place in Mr. Clinton’s inner circle, an exclusive club of wealthy entrepreneurs in which friendship with the former president has its privileges.

Both candidates are intelligent, articulate individuals. On policy issues in the debate, Clinton gave specifics while Obama gave generalizations. Obama may bring new voters to the process and inspire hope in what government can be, but Clinton has a better chance of actually following through on practical reforms and progress.

We had two debates, the Republicans and the Democrats. The Republican debate had a crowd of about 400 people in attendance. At the Democrat debate there were thousands seated and outside, thousands more carrying signs for Obama and Hillary.

As for the war, Obama always opposed the war. However, he voted several times to fund the war, because he did not want the troops to be left in Iraq without the necessary gear and protections that Bush neglected to provide to our troops that were sent to Iraq.

I am glad that he wants to bring the troops home. The invasion of Iraq should not have occurred. It is a war based on lies.

Clinton is good at presenting her legislative ideas. Obama is good at bringing people together and taking the leadership role in a movement that has exited millions.

Our next president, like other presidents will not be writing legislation. That job belongs to the Senate and Congress. The president’s responsibility is to gather the best information from the most knowledgeable and reliable sources. Then convince the congress and senate to support his vision.

I really liked hearing that if elected Obama does not want to surround himself with a bunch of yes men. He's wants the best of the best and he wants people that are not afraid to disagree with him. He seems to recognize that he is not perfect and that the job of being president requires input from others with the knowledge that he may not have.

Though I don't agree with everything Obama says, I know that our next president will have to have the ability to persuade and lead the masses. Our next president will have to be able to hold discussions with our allies and our enemies. Our next president will have to restore the image of the USA and convince the world that we are credible and can be trusted to follow the rules of our US Constitution and respect International law. Our next president will have to put the citizens of the USA first and discontinue the congressional open door policy to corporate lobbyist.

I support Obama.

Well said. Hillary is the most cheated woman on earth by her sex manic Bill although she never bothered with Bill's cheating on her only if she will be running to the presidency with his support. Clearly and without a doubt, Hillary and bill is the most disgraceful corrupt and fraudulent couple in US history that will do anything to get the rule of the American people back.
It is time to stop the Clintons charlatan couple now before suffering eight more years of fraud and shameful un-American behavior.

Only assurance you have with a Clinton is more scandals.
Like today's bombshell about Bill's shady deal for Uranium in Kazakhstan!

Another Clinton Scandal and Hillery isn't even the nominee!

This is a MUST SEE video for anyone interested in the immigration debate, whether you are a citizen, an illegal alien or a Congressman.... all » This clip from the longer video, Immigration by the Numbers, features Roy Beck demonstrating the catastrophe of the huge numbers of both legal and illegal immigration by Third World people into the modern nations. He uses standard statistics and simple gumballs to show this disaster in the making.

This is America, not mexAmerica. Human compassion does not enter the picture. How many gallons can be placed in a one gallon jug? We're out of room, out of jobs, out of space. If mexicans are such nice people, so industrious, so interested in a living/job/family..........why the heck don't they rebuild their own country?

She was KO'd with her own words and Obama pointed it out.

Hillary simply cannot deflect & lie about what an "Authorization to Use Military Force" means.

To claim it meant sending inspectors again is just ridiculous.

She simply could not admit that it was a naive decision or wrong decision. A real piece of work!

Go Obama!

Thanks. That was a very interesting video. I too am concerned about the US immigration policies. In Florida there is a "foot on the ground" or "wet foot dry foot" policy for Cubans. At the same time we send boat loads of Haitians back to a nation where they are literally eating dirt to stay alive.

Our immigration policies are not based on the suffering of people but are based on politics. The reason that we have allowed so many Mexicans to immigrate to the US probably has more to do with oil than our concern for their problems.
