Husband is charged for wife's murder

I have just been made aware of this post and read most of them, especially the judgemental ones who wished Jay to be found guilty without knowing the facts of what truly happened..and my heart goes out to all the family members on both sides who have been anguishing over this tragedy which was, as Jay said, an accident. His fingerprints/DNA were NOT on the trigger or the shells however those of Candice were. I truly felt, with all the presenting evidence, he would be acquited and hope, at the time of sentencing, the judge will take all the evidence into consideration and allow young Braxton a life with his loving father. Sure, Jay has made some bad choices in his young life and I bet, all of you , with your quick accusations, have made errors in judgement at one time or another in your life , but accusing Jay of murder was an error on your part. I have known Jay thruout his childhood and know the other side of Jay that would never resort to the type of action most of you are agreeing to. He repeatedly told the truth-the testimony proved his truth and I pray the truth will ultimately set him free of this particular incident irregardless of the end sentence..He deserves better.

I hope you weren't assuming I was judging Jay. I wasn't. I was just posting the link. I have not "taken sides" as I knew very little about either of them. I was just their neighbor. We weren't close but we were all friendly.

Candi's death has been very hard for everyone that knew her and loved her. As Candi's mom and Jay's father have said, the most important one here is little Braxton. No child should have to experience what he has but that cant be undone. The only thing that everyone can do is remind him how much his mommy loved him and that his daddy does too. He needs his family to be there for him now. I do not know all the details of the trial but I believe that there is one person whom knows exactly what happened that night and the days and nights before that.. and in the end, he is the one we have to answer to. May God continue to take care of Braxton and his "whole" family.

Thanks Jessica and that is very true. Braxton has been doing great! I think he's just now realizing what he doesn't have his mom and dad, and deals with it the best way he can. God's strength is the only thing that has gotten us through this.Braxton has alot of family that love him very very much and your right his dad included. His mom is gone but he still has his dad here and can receive the love he has to give him the best way possible. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, if your ever over this way you should come visit with Braxton. Remember how Candi laughed? he does the same thing. WE'll just continue to do the best we can.

Too bad alot of people didn't support Candi when she lived here, so called friends that were just passer bys. Friends she'd had her whole life that set her up ummm think maybe thats one reason she wanted to get out of this town HUGE BETRAYAL. I could not agree more with Liz, Candi's Mom. Most of the people who have written on here did not know the two of them for if they had they could not have said all the awful things they did say. Candi was one of the most lovely girls I ever knew and I loved her very much and mourn her loss daily. I also love Jay White with all my heart and I also know he deeply loved Candi. I'm not going to try to convince anyone about what happened but it is my belief that it indeed was a terrible tragedy, one that all of us that loved them both have had a tremendous time coping with. We all have grieved, we continue to grieve and we always will. She will live in all our hearts forever.

Now though, we must all go on and remember what her greatest wish would have been. I think that all who loved her would say she would have wanted Braxton to be allowed to grow up without hate, without anymore sorrow than he already has and with the strong conviction that both his mother and his daddy loved and love him with all their hearts. I salute Liz and Perry, my brother Jim and sister-in-law Vickie for their ability to let love govern their actions and to keep the most precious thing in the world, to Candi and Jay, safe, our darling Braxton. May God comfort all involved who hurt including my beloved nephew, Jay.
