Ladies who are not only attractive but ladies of many talents, who can find time to be a working woman and a homemaker at the same time and be efficient at both. I think he did a good job picking the best. I am guessing he is an older person who was just paying them a compliment. You younger guys ALL have your mind in the gutter.

This AIN'T the fifties. Back in the fifties, a person would speak for himself. He would say "I don't care." He would not speak for everyone by saying, "NOBODY cares if one is a good home maker." A lot of men do still care and appreciate a good homemaker. So, YEAH, you might try speaking for yourself only. Speaking for others, only shows how arrogant you are.

White men spoke for just about everybody so blow it out your ass.

White men spoke for just about everybody so blow it out your ass. I got to you, didn't I ARROGANT? I can't imagine where you came from but you surely didn't grow up in Bath County. I was born and raised there and I grew up in the fifties. NO, white men never spoke for everybody. They spoke for themselves. And I don't know what you mean by "the wemen sure knew their damn place." I had the same rights as my brothers. I know there was a time when wemen didn't have the same rights as men, but it was much further back than the fifties. I don't recall any racial problems there either, in the fifties. I know there were problems in other states. I recall seeing on T.V.,about violence in Alabama and Mississippi. Yes, we had television back then. And mama didn't have to ask dad for permission to watch it. Maybe you should take a crash course in History.
