I've tried. I have really tried for over two years now. I don't get it at all. There's one who nothing more than a POLITICIAN period. All he does is politic and plays politics in everything he does. Another church is changing preachers so fast I can't keep up. I can't take my kids to a church where the kids don't stay in church, even my teens. Another one is just plain old arrogant and rude. I'm heading to the country.

Check out the Church of Christ on US 60. No politics, good reliable preacher, no begging for money, and best of all no more having to look for a church.

Not interested in being in a church that won't work with other churches because they think they are the only right church. Just not interested.

I don't think the poster stated she is looking for perfection. There's nothing wrong with searching for a church that meets certain standards or has components that one feels are necessary for a meaningful worship service.

Who are you talking about? Politics could be Rice or Bailey. Changing preachers could be the Methodists or Baptists. Kids not staying in church has to be the Christian Church. Arrogant and rude...hmmm....could be anybody. Who is it?

A church that worships God is not for everyone, that is why the majority of churches do not. You should have no trouble finding the type of church you are looking for however. To worship God you must make Him you Lord. You cannot worship God unless you submit to His will, it's that simple. Hope you find the church you are looking for.
