So glad my seven year old told me about how when they were getting on the bus right NEXT to the apartments at Hodson Elementary that the cops and firetrucks were there... If there was a concern why were the kids let out of school?

I'm so glad we dont live in apartments anymore. Unfortunately, with more and more apartments popping up in Owasso, more and more 'unsavory' folks will be flocking to this fine little city. If you think it's bad now, try reading the Crime Reports in the owasso reporter twice a week. You'd be surprised to see how many incidents happen at the appartments. It wasn't this bad in owasso 11 yrs ago. sigh.

As for Hodson Elementary, if I were you I'd contact the principal to see if he/she checked with police before releasing the kids. I would guess the cop and fire truck was at that entrance to keep traffic from entering the apt complex drive thru. The elementary is not 'right next' to the apts. There is a fairly large field, open lot, and roadway. I was up there saturday.

Yah there is a field seperating the school and the apartment.. but a lot of those kids walk from that school... if anything exploded or gun shots were fired the kids would def of been too close for comfort.anyways my son and his frends were very scared!!!! I think that trash like that needs to be kept out of owasso as best as possible. This is a great family community and it would be nice if it stayed that way.

That is why it is best to live in a home In the country . You never know what people do. That's crazy that man could have killed the whole building I wonder if he had it out for somebody? That was crazy and wild and dangerous. What was he thinking he was in Iraq? It let you know just how crazy are around you what is this world is coming to? Well he will get the max. Oh Well I feel for the victims that live around him have to go with the fear of bombs in the building. Sad thank God didn't no one got hurt. And it was saved before he killed them all that lived around him. And his self to take such a stupid Risk of playing with life or Death. Well time is not on his side and I'm sure the System will give him one he can think about for a while.

First of all...what do you expect when you set up a town 15 minutes away from a big city? Stuff like this happens..yeah it isn't right or good for anything like this to happen but it does. Nobody was actually hurt. I live in The Greens and there are two ponds also in between the school and the apartments. The report says the explosive would have had about the same effect as a hand grenade which would have been contained by the apartment. Say your blessings and thank God nothing worse happened.

Pipe bombs don't kill people. People kill people. Seriously folks a pipe is a very ineffective weapon and very hard to administer. You should be more worried about all the guns in that little town of yours. In the last two months two people died from gun accidents in Owasso. When is the last time someone in America was killed by a pipe bomb? Pipe bombs are crude and easy to make. But you can't play Russian roulete with a pipe bomb. Also they don't have hair triggers unlike guns which many people have relized to their own horror.

I live at The Greens and my car was broken into last week and now someone has a bomb?! Why isn't there security or anything? I moved to Owasso because I thought it would be safe.

You should have run for office in 2008. With the mad rush to elect spineless compassionate apologists, you could have found yourself in congress.
