Your newspaper Buffalo Gap

My friends and neighbors, Wayne & Dee Abramski, on Squireswood here in Carrollton, Tx are subscribers. They love your monthly
editions and have loaned me some to read. Noticed a website
www.buffalogapnews@aol.com and could not get any response. I am
very interested in your paper, but Wayne said he thought the cost had gone up. Is that website correct. Would really appreciate hearing from you. My email is: Kay.lang2@verizon.net

I just wanted to tell you how much I love your paper. I stayed in the Abilene State Park, and got your paper at the office. When I got back to Tn. I ordered your paper.Got my first issue today.The march issue. It is so nice to read such a clean paper. Gave one to a friend,they in turn ordered them the paper. My friends husband takes the paper to church with him for some of his friends to read. But he also tells them he wants his paper back when they are done reading. he os keeping them. I love your news paper. It is so nice to see somethng tht is really good. I live in Maryland and my brother sent me the paper until now. I wanted to share with you how I feel about Texas up here in whatever, it sure isnt Texas.

We can sit and talk about the prairie, tumble weeds sprayed silver at Christmas time and mistletoe growing in Mesquite trees.

We can talk about the dry West Texas wind that blows incessantly and even an occasional dust storm, not so bad once in a while but not too often.

We can talk about the stars and the moon that can be seen and it just looks like you barely have to stand on your tip-toes and touch or pluck a star from the sky, EXCEPT they are so much more beautiful in the midnight blue sky.

We can talk about the sun that beats down on the ground until in some places it parched, dry and cracking and needs a swallow of water from Mother Nature and eventually it comes. But you see along with the sun there is that sky that meets the horizon somewhere down the road but you just can't seem to get there. The white fluffy clouds that look like the cotton that grows in the fields having just erupted showing their white fluffiness.

But my favorite of all are the Dark Storm Clouds that float over ever so quietly until they erupt in their magnificence with claps of thunder and streaks of lightening. It somehow clears the air (maybe it is those positive ions from the lightening), I don't know but it does smell good after a thunder storm even if doesn't rain and blows right over. The light shows against the dark clouds were enough to get you through another day.

So my dearest don't be afraid just go to your favorite Texas place in your mind and let it fill you with comfort and a feeling of contentment and peace. You can even have a Thunder Storm if you want to clear the air and let the positive ions fill you with well-being.

Whoa, Do I miss Texas, maybe I should do what I am prescribing as well.

Your newspaper is not bad at all, especially when people discuss about our town Abilene to grow up, but I remember a page anti Obama back during the elections, and today often anti Immigrants, is it in your goal or just to inform people
