United States and Illinois flags at half-staff from Sunrise, Saturday, October 24, 2009 until Sunset, Monday, October 26, 2009. The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor Quinn's Office to fly the flags at State occupied buildings at half-staff on behalf of: Sgt. Christopher M. Rudzinski United States Army Hometown: Rantoul, Illinois Please lower the United States flags and the State flags at all buildings occupied by your agency's personnel from: Sunrise, Saturday, October 24, 2009 until Sunset, Monday, October 26, 2009 |

Both the school and park district follow guidelines from the State of Illinois on flag display.
Gov. Quinn has asked that for every funeral of a fallen Illinois soldier all flags be flow at half to honor those who have served. |
