Judged: 2 2 1 Jesus Christ Johnny. Can't you even remember what happened last year and what your reaction was? "what if" you did some research of what you said last year when you criticized the President for what you saw as taking credit for the execution of who was at the time public enemy number 1. |

Judged: 1 1 1 But you have to tell it like it is. The truth hurts, even when it is the truth. obama is in full campaign mode, the great divider, the great instigator of class warfare. The guy that was supposed to be the great uniter has turned out to be the worst divider. This president is truly the worst. Bar none. |

Judged: 1 1 1 F yes he is. THE worst No record to run on whatsoever. Now, in his relentless pursuit to win re-election, Obama chooses to divide our country. There is no middle ground with this thug. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Its been said that you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, nor can you make a president out of a empty suit, Obama didn't have the DNA neccessry to make a president good for America, and he hasn't been. |

Judged: 2 2 1 The socialists/ Marxist / communists can try to rewrite history. The main stream media can try to glorify this current president. Obama can fly to Afghanistan on a campaign trip to remind us that Bin Laden was killed one year ago. The fact remains, Obama did not make that call. He was ADVISED to do so. What the heck was he supposed to do? Duh. God bless the real men and women of our country that made this happen. Some pictures should be presented if Obama is going to run on this stolen victory from those that actually worked for it Tic. Tic. Tic. |

Subject.... Who really holds the reigns of Power in Government...Saturday, May 05, 2012..Johnny Appleseed ... Its been said that"Things aren't always as they seem" and to get the true signficance of what is taking place in our society we have to delve under surface appearances to better understand what is presently taking place in this country. Politicians, Lawyers, teachers, all are a part of a labyrinth of those involved in the construct of our society, and just as girders defind and shape structures so these people define and shape the people's morals and ideologies. Citizens go about their lives busily attending to their daily affairs and thus the changes these elitists make go relativly unnoticed while these elitists institute subtle changes to slowly accomplish major shifts in our form of government. Who really holds the reigns of power in our government, politicians,Some might say that it would seem obvious that Politicians, Lawyers, teachers, at first glance hold the reigns of power in our government. Joseph Schumpeter, economic professor and a political Scientist said this," Intellectuals rarely enter professional politics and still more rarely conquer responsible office. But they staff political bureaus, write party pamphlets and speeches, act as secretaries and advisers, make the politicians reputations.... in doing these things they Impress their mentality on almost everything that is to be done." Lawyers/ Supreme Court Justices who's decisions effectively shape every citizens lives aren't strictly the decisions of the justices but are the result of the cumulative efforts of Supreme Court law clerks. "Supreme Court Justices law clerks political ideologies effect the decisions of the justices. "According to a December 2008 New York Times article, "Influence on the Supreme Court Bench Could Be an Inside Job," the justices' law clerks, who are usually recent law school graduates, also influence the Court's direction: "A new study in the DePaul Law Review claims to show that the political leanings of law clerks do influence the votes of Supreme Court justices. "The study is based on information about political party affiliations collected from more than 500 former clerks, and on standard measures of judicial ideology." ""Over and above the influence of the justices' own policy preferences," the study concludes, "their clerks' policy preferences have an independent effect on their votes" It would appear that the Law clerks hold the reigns of power at the supreme court to a large degree. Politicians: "Senators have a great deal of influence on the Court, both in terms of suggesting appropriate candidates, and in resisting confirmation of Supreme Court nominees" whose personal ideology/disagrees,with other senator's party idoelogies. Teachers are the products of Liberal dominated Educational institutions who's class instruction materials the students use are predominately authored by leftist authors with leftist professors teaching the students, ie, such as Ward Churchill and Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Barack Obama etc. Who really holds the reigns of power in government Those operating under the surface,it seems are also ones who wield the reigns of power, Politicians, Lawyers, teachers, all, are only a part of that labyrinth of the power structure. |

Judged: 1 1 Anyone who has had a job in the last few decades has paid into this system expecting the rewards we were promised...... However...... I think if you examine the financials of these two programs you would realize they are unsustainable in their current form. One can argue about how we got to this point,( I would blame worthless politicians) but the fact is these programs are not sustainable for everyone 20 or 30 years (or less) down the road. So, it would seem that someone has to propose a fix, long term. I do not know what that would entail, but I do know it won't work to keep kicking the can down the road like the gutless politicians in both parties have done for years. Something has to change. More taxes, more self directed form, later retirement and medicare starts, less benefits. Whatever. The system as now exists is unsustainable. This truly is a ponzi scheme, a house of cards waiting to collapse.Time for the politicians to tell the truth. I don't think they will, because they want to be re elected, but this mess has to be dealt with soon. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Yes, let's trust in the government to provide. Sounds like a plan. Do you really believe 99% of this country has paid into SS??? Face it: The money is not there. |

Judged: 2 1 1 It should also be mentioned that you are unequivocally clueless. Reconsider your situation. Many Americans are. Get a clothespin and put it on your nose when you go and vote in November. If you think Romney is a poor choice over the current clown and embarrassment to this country, again, you are clueless |

Judged: 1 1 1 What I am saying is that in 2007 Pres. Obama told us that when he was president he would do what was necessary to stop terrorism - including attacks in foreign countries, including Pakistan, with or without the approval of the country, if necessary. And that is exactly what he did. He said he was going to do it, and he did what he said. He was criticized at the time by Gov. Romney for saying that he would attack terrorists in foreign countries even if the US didn't have the approval of the foreign country. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Well, Eric. If what you posted above you believe to be true it must have been a bad day for you to hear him speaking out of the right side of his mouth The only reason Osama was killed (still waiting for proof of that) was due to following intelligence and tactics already in place well before he took office. Tactics and intelligence that the community organizer from chicago is still greatly lacking. |

Judged: 1 1 1 You must have missed this one from the mystery and intrigue thread. I guess there is something that you can agree with the president after all. I am impressed! Please note the statement of support was made 3 years before the president was elected. Also note that the Gov. Romney came out at the same time against the action. Gov. Romney said: "I do not concur in the words of Barack Obama in a plan to enter an ally of ours... I don't think those kinds of comments help in this effort to draw more friends to our effort," Romney told reporters on the campaign trail. Obama on Wednesday said if elected president in November 2008 he would be willing to launch military strikes against al Qaeda targets inside Pakistan with or without the approval of the Pakistani government of President Pervez Musharraf. "If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will," Obama said. Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who is one of the Republican front-runners, said U.S. troops "shouldn't be sent all over the world." He called Obama's comments "ill-timed" and "ill-considered." http://in.reuters.com/article/2007/08/04/idIN ... As I said, the president told us what he would do and then he did it as promised. |

Judged: 2 2 1 Even Me in Hellinois understood the quotation from the president and recognized that the President took a stance that you with the blinders on were not expecting. It was the President taking a stance against terrorism while Gov. Romney was more interested in how it would look to other countries. |
