Oh, I'm all for saving the babies. Only that the term "baby" does not apply to the unborn; that's a "fetus."

Let me share something with you my illiterate pro-lifer friend;

1- there are as many unborn babies as there are born fetuses.

2- in 2009, there were 424,000 children in foster care in the United States.

Assume not all of those FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND children were the product of unwanted pregnancies, and let's say only 50 - 60 percent were NOT products of unwanted pregnancies; you're still talking a number between 169,600 and 212,000 children in foster care, WAITING TO BE ADOPTED. Yet, your ilk favors adoption over abortion, at the expense of denying a woman her right to have autonomy over her body. Very patriotic of you;

3- there is a particular point in a pregnancy, called VIABILITY, which demarcates the point at which a fetus has at minimum a 50% chance of survival outside the womb. Since the very large majority of abortions are performed around the 9th gestational week, and viability is placed at approximately the 24th week, what would we be looking to save?

4- do you realize, and I'm only going to refer to humpback whales for this example, that the gestational period of a humpack whale is 11 - 12 months? And that the life expectancy of a humpback is 45 - 50 years? And that there are only about 10,000 - 15,000 humpbacks in the world? What's the life expectancy of a human now-a-days? How many humans are in the world? Any more questions?????

Something I forgot to ask you; given the figures of children in foster homes, and assuming my percentages aren't that far off the mark; how many of those children, products of unwanted pregnancies, are you willing to adopt?

How many of them are your friends, or family members, or other people you know may be willing to adopt?

How many of them are you willing to support financially?

So then you prefer to leave nothing behind for future generations? You'd rather all those precious fetuses inherit a trash heap with no remaining echosystem?

Conservationism is a hell of a lot more considerate of future generations than trying to force every pregnancy to term. Quality of life means something, and if you can't consider the right of other creatures on this planet to exist, you should at least consider it from your inherently selfish, egotistical viewpoint and think of what it will mean for your children if there is no clean air to breathe.

Was just on Tox 25 News that someone came forward to say a girl by the name "I think" Tegan Carter is being used by the police department as an informant to track down drug dealers and buyers. Word now is that Tegan may have made a deal to work as an informant to escape possible charges for injecting methadone into the young man that died on Dec 24th, 2011 at the Piping Rock Motel in Wolfeboro. It was reported by a news source Carter injected Methadone into the person to make them pass out so that she could attempt to rob him. What she did it appears is cause his death if this is true. Witness' are coming forward that know for a fact that Tegan Carter drove to Lowell Mass with the victim, another female (currently incarcerated at a county jail) and Carter plotted the trip so that the female woman with them would be left at a gas station, Carter and the victim would go to a disclosed location speedys- with another male passenger to pick up what is believed to have been cocaine. Carter's plan was to inject methadone into the victim to make him pass out, rob him of the drugs that were paid for by the female who was left at the gas station, and Carter would go on her merry way to Sell the cocaine herself. Carter the very next day after the male victim died, attempted to sell cocaine to a witness that is now coming forward. So if Carter did all this and the cops are Now using her as an informant on the streets to nail other dealers and buyers HOW FAIR IS THAT? Watch you backs around this Carter person. It is being said by several witness' she will do just about anything to rob/steal what you have, and leave you for dead. The public does not need this trash being an INFORMANT/RAT/SNITCH/ on our streets. She is a piece of garbage most are saying that needs to rot in jail. Take her down and put her away or several people are going to the papers. From this new information being passed around on the news Tegan Carter aided in the DEATH of a young victim. Get her off the streets.
