LMAO! Because of reading this now I go around saying "We have Wal-Mart!" I find this whole post hilarious but it's dead on the target, sad but true. ARKANSAS: Why for ya'll a sayin we is don't be a good state fer? I find this one more sad than funny because this is the way people talk here and the people who come here knowing how to spell and talk have a hard time understanding what they are saying. My children and I hate it here! There are people moving 2-3 hours away from Mississippi county and wish we were one of them. I'd rather move 2-3 or more hours away from Arkansas.

I was raised a Christian, but after becoming an adult and having internet to see how 'Christians' really are by comments like yours and doing research, etc, not many years ago I quit calling myself a Christian. I know there are nice Christians out there who don't judge others and tell them they are going to hell(yes it's spelled hell and not he'll) and cram their religion down your throat. I do believe in freedom of religion unlike Christians. No Ar isn't by the ocean, but if it were and if the rumors I hear about the Mississippi river are true then it would be full of murdered bodies too. It's hard to tell if your being lied to or not in this place.

Thank you for clearing that up, now I feel much better about my kids going to school here. Oh and were pretty good football players? I'm yankee girl's sister-in-law she was referring to, I just want to clear 1 thing up, she's not talking about forced in the sence of having a gun to my head or anything like that. My choices were to either move here with him or leave him. I lived in Gosnell and Bltheville 10 years ago, when we moved away from here I said I will never live in Blytheville again and 8 years later i'm back in Mississippi county. My husband was born and raised here and sees nothing wrong with Miss.Co., but I wasn't raised here and see alot wrong. For starters am I the only one seeing that the schools in Osceola need to be fixed up or condemned. In one school the windows that aren't boarded up are duct-taped to keep the cold air from coming in and I don't see how kids are not getting sick from all the mold in there and that's not the only school here full of mold. My husband told me the schools were like that when he went to school here... so seriously why are our children being allowed to go to school here? I know there are changes coming for the schools, like the new school they are building so that's a plus, should have been built a long time ago. I was also informed this morning by my kids that this morning that in 2 of the schools the bathroom have a tiolet sitting there with no stall... never in my life have I walked into schools like this until we moved here and if I had a choice my kids would be getting their education somewhere else. Do not bother asking who my husband is because I will not tell you because I do not want people knocking on my door all the time just because i'm with him and being used and lied to just like when I lived here 10 years ago. I'm friendly but I will not make friends here ever again... been there, done that, learned from my mistake.

I fit in? Please explain to me how I fit in. You should know a person before you judge a person and not by what little bit a person has said on the internet. Yeah I could have done without the sarcasm in a few of my comments, normally I don't tell my opinions anywhere on and off the internet (once in awhile on facebook to family posts is about it). So since people are quick to judge others (and that's anywhere you go) i'll tell a little about myself. I do not drink, I do not do drugs (tried weed one time years ago, didn't like it and will never do it again), I am not a partier and get called boring because I don't do these things but i'd rather be boring than my kids being raised by a mother who is drunk or messed up on drugs all the time or too busy partying to have time for them. I am quiet and anti-social, I have trust issues (who wouldn't if they get lied to on almost a daily basis). I've been depreesed more than what i've been in my life since we moved here which is not because of the town, it's because of the crappy house we live in. This house and the way the schools are here are my main issues.

Personally I would love to see changes in this town rather than hating it here, especially with the schools. I see alot of people on these forums complaining and talking about wanting change in this town, there's a new school and new wal-mart being built which i'm glad to see happening, it's a start toward change. I'm a person who comes from the city life, but am not like the city life people, I prefer to live out in the country and happy with a good place for the family to go out to eat or have dinner at home with a good movie on the weekends. I don't care for the nightlife, but my children and husband will be home soon and I have things to do so judge me as you see fit.

You are right, no one will miss me, you have to know a person before you can miss that person and leaving here requires me to leave my husband which i'm not going to do, but don't worry, after this condemnable house is paid off we are planning on moving.

No matter what good things Arkansas has, it will not change the fact that it is a hell of boring and depressing. I can't wait to move out.

I've lived in Arkansas for 9 years. They have been some of the most miserable of my life. I won't be disrespectful and hate on Arkansas but I would go back to my native state of Michigan in a heartbeat. Where people are kinder the grass isnt scorched and people are courteous drivers.
