It is a great school, both my children go there. They kinda strict both it's a good strict. Catholic has great teachers and they really work with the students.

I bet they will! I think this school is really greedy. Why have 25-35 kids in one class?? And the teachers and staff are more concerned about who last name the students have. Bc they want that $$

My child went to chspc for two years. The first year was not too bad but the second year he became the bottom of the pecking order. He was constantly harassed by kids in the class ahead of him and in his own grade. He had two backpacks ripped apart and one boy urinated on one of them. I complained to the administration but to no avail. My neighbor told me that the boys causing the problems came from the "right families" so nothing would be done. I didn't believe that but it came to be true. The last time he was hurt, there was a teacher on duty and he just laughed as though it was a joke. His comment was"....get tough or get lost!" I took my child out that day and placed him in another school where he is happy and safe. I thought that a Catholic school would teach my son the morals he would need but instead he learned that some people can get away with anything at chspc.

@mooney you are exactly right. This stuff goes on everyday during the school year their. It is really a shame how they try to make these kids that have that (last name) or family has a few dollars look so innocent!

This right family getting away with things can be said of the society in general in Pointe Coupee Parish, so it's no surprise that these things occurring at this and other schools in the parish are just a reflection of what goes on in adult life here.
